About me and my therapy practice
I’m a Íø±¬ÃÅ-registered counsellor with a calm, grounded style. People come to me when they’re tired of spinning their wheels and want a straight-talking, compassionate professional who’ll really listen—and also help them move forward. I specialise in men’s mental health and working with neurodivergent adults (ADHD/autism). I also welcome LGBTQ+ clients.
My core approach is Person-Centred and trauma-informed: you set the pace; I provide a steady, non-judgemental space and gentle, thoughtful challenge when it’s useful. Clients tell me they feel understood quickly, that sessions feel safe and practical, and that I help them spot patterns that have been running the show in the background.
I hold a First-Class BSc (Hons) in Counselling & Psychotherapy (University of Salford) and have specialist mentoring experience in higher education. I’m fully insured and work to Íø±¬ÃÅ ethical standards. If you value clarity, warmth and consistency, we’ll be a good fit.
Practice description
I’m a Íø±¬ÃÅ-registered counsellor offering online sessions UK-wide. I work well with clients who are ready to show up consistently and make meaningful changes. I have particular experience with men’s mental health and neurodivergent adults (ADHD/autism), and I also welcome LGBTQ+ clients. Common themes include anxiety and overthinking, shame and self-criticism, stress and burnout, relationship difficulties, trauma, and life transitions.
What to expect: a calm, non-judgemental space and clear structure. My core approach is Person-Centred and trauma-informed. I follow what matters to you and will gently challenge stuck patterns. Where useful, I integrate Compassion-Focused ideas and simple, here-and-now strategies to support nervous-system regulation, boundaries and kinder self-talk. We’ll agree goals together and review progress regularly so therapy stays focused and practical.
How I work: sessions last 50 minutes via secure video. Fees are £50 per session, with 10% off a block of ten. To keep things smooth, payment and a short counselling agreement are completed before sessions; there’s a 24-hour cancellation policy. A brief video consultation is available to check we’re a good fit.
Qualifications & standards: First-Class BSc (Hons) Counselling & Psychotherapy (University of Salford); specialist mentoring experience in higher education; extensive work with ADHD/autism. Fully insured and aligned with Íø±¬ÃÅ ethical standards, with a strong emphasis on privacy and professionalism.
