About me and my therapy practice
Trauma and IFS-informed therapy to help you regulate overwhelm, rebuild self-trust, and move beyond survival mode.
Hi and welcome, I鈥檓 Iga鈥
I鈥檓 an Integrative Counsellor specialising in supporting adults who feel stuck in survival mode. I blend trauma-informed therapy and Internal Family Systems (IFS) to create a safe, compassionate space where all parts of you are welcome.
Therapy with me is gentle and collaborative. We work at your pace, helping you understand your patterns, calm your nervous system, and reconnect with the parts of yourself you may have lost touch with.
WHO I WORK WITH
You might be here because:
- You feel constantly on edge, anxious, burnt-out, or unable to relax
- Overthinking, perfectionism, self-doubt, or people-pleasing are wearing you down
- Past emotional trauma is still impacting your relationships and confidence
- You feel disconnected from yourself, your needs, or your emotions
- You want to feel safe in your own skin again
- You鈥檙e wondering who you are beyond your responsibilities or achievements
- You鈥檙e tired of just getting through the day and ready to feel more in control of your life
If any of this sounds familiar, you're not alone, you're carried too much for too long. I鈥檇 love to work with you.
HOW THERAPY CAN HELP
Together, we can work towards:
- Finding tools to manage anxiety, reduce overwhelm, and feel more in control
- Calming your mind - without the constant mental noise and self-criticism
- Building connection to your emotions - without feeling overwhelmed by them
- Feeling more compassionate for yourself, especially during tough moments
- Healing the impact of pain caused by repeated experiences of not feeling safe, valued, or supported in relationships
- Rebuilding your self-trust and confidence
- Cultivating inner calm and clarity
- Moving from survival mode into a life that feels connected and meaningful
Starting therapy can feel daunting, therefore I offer a free 20-minute consultation via Zoom or phone so we can meet, discuss your needs, and see if we鈥檙e a good fit.
Practice description
I specialise in supporting people who feel stuck in survival mode, often as a result of chronic stress, anxiety, burnout, perfectionism, people-pleasing, or the lasting impact of relational trauma. I have an experience working with people of all ages and diverse backgrounds.
I鈥檒l offer you a space where you can feel truly seen and heard for who you are. My style is compassionate and grounded, together we鈥檒l explore what feels meaningful for you. Sometimes that means simply having a safe space to reflect, and other times it may involve gentle guidance to help you see things in a new way.
I see therapy as a collaborative process where you feel supported and empowered in your own growth.
I work in a neuroaffirmative way - recognising and respecting neurological differences such as autism, ADHD, and other forms of neurodivergence as part of natural human diversity - not as something to be 鈥渇ixed.鈥
I鈥檓 an LGBTQ+ ally, committed to creating a safe, supportive space where you can be fully yourself without fear of judgement or misunderstanding.
I take a holistic approach to mental health. Sometimes mental health challenges can show up in our bodies as chronic physical symptoms like fatigue, pain, or digestive issues. These aren鈥檛 just 鈥榠n your head鈥 - our emotional well-being and physical health are deeply connected.
In therapy, we can explore how stress, anxiety, or past trauma might be affecting your body, and work together to support both your mental and physical health.
In my work, I鈥檓 drawn to certain approaches and modalities that I鈥檝e found to be especially helpful for the people I work with: Psychodynamic Therapy, Internal Family Systems, Attachment Theory, Somatic Therapy, Neuroscience-Informed Therapy (e.g: Polyvagal Theory).
I鈥檓 bilingual and can offer sessions in both English and Polish.
You can find out more about me on www.therapywithiga.com

In my work, I鈥檓 drawn to certain approaches and modalities that I鈥檝e found to be especially helpful for the people I work with: Psychodynamic Therapy, Internal Family Systems, Attachment Theory, Somatic Therapy, Neuroscience-Informed Therapy (e.g: Polyvagal Theory).
I鈥檓 bilingual and can offer sessions in both English and Polish. However, I feel most at ease working in English, as it鈥檚 the language I trained in and use most often in my therapeutic work.

My first session
Finding the right therapist can feel overwhelming. To make this easier, I offer a free 20-minute introductory call, either by phone or online (via Zoom).
This is a chance for you to ask any questions you may have, share a little about yourself and the challenges you're facing, and discuss how I may be able to support you. I鈥檒l also explain how I work, so you can get a sense of whether we鈥檙e a good fit for each other.
If you would like to book a free 20-min chat, please:
