About me and my therapy practice

Feeling that anxious pit in your stomach every night, or just have no motivation? If the thought of tomorrow fills you with dread, therapy can help ease your mind and bring positivity back into your life.

Are you constantly worst-case scenario thinking, with even small situations spiralling into overwhelming "what if" thoughts? Do you have physical symptoms of anxiety or depression - racing heart, tight chest, trouble sleeping, or fatigue - without an obvious cause? Do you dodge social situations or work challenges for fear of failure or criticism?

Counselling isn’t just me listening to your problems. Together we’ll find practical solutions to help you feel better.

Counselling can be a game-changer. Here’s how it helps:

  • Breaks the worry loop – I’ll help you spot unhelpful thought patterns and teach you how to reframe them, so your mind doesn’t default to panic or worst-case scenarios.
  • Builds coping tools – You’ll learn techniques like grounding or cognitive-behavioral strategies that give you more control when anxiety hits.
  • Creates a safe space – Talking through fears can reduce shame and isolation, making anxiety feel less powerful.
  • Targets root causes – Therapy explores underlying triggers to understand why anxiety shows up and how to shift it.
  • Boosts confidence – As you build skills and gain insight, you’ll feel more equipped to face challenges instead of avoiding them.

I started my private practice because I’ve seen how debilitating anxiety and depression can be. Whether this stems from workplace bullying, stress around a major life event, health issues, job loss, or just feeling stuck, it is possible to take back some control and feel better.

With 16 years of leadership experience supporting large teams, I’ve seen how anxiety and depression impact everyday life. As a therapist, I’ve helped many clients regain control of their thinking and lead more fulfilling lives. I’d love to help you too.

I’m a registered member of the Íø±¬ÃÅ and an Accredited Registrant of the NCPS.

About me and my therapy practice

Anxiety and depression can be incredibly isolating, leaving you feeling stuck, exhausted, or unsure of where to turn. I can help you break free from this pressure and start feeling yourself again.

Perhaps you wake up each day with a sense of dread, your mind racing with 'what ifs' and worst-case scenarios. Maybe you feel like you're carrying an invisible weight, finding it harder and harder to get through the day. You might be experiencing:

  • Persistent feelings of sadness, hopelessness, or emptiness
  • Trouble sleeping or constant fatigue
  • Overthinking, panic attacks, "foggy" head, or a sense of being ‘on edge’
  • Loss of motivation or interest in things you used to enjoy
  • Feeling disconnected from yourself or those around you

I am an Integrative Therapist. Rather than adhering to a single counselling model, I draw from multiple approaches, such as person-centered, cognitive-behavioural, psychodynamic, and mindfulness-based therapies - blending them in a way that works best for you.

You don’t have to face this alone. If you’re ready to take the first step towards healing, I’d love to support you on your journey. Get in touch for a confidential chat and let’s explore how we can work together.

I offer daytime or evening appointments, seeing clients in person, online or over the phone.

I am a registered member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (Íø±¬ÃÅ) and an Accredited Registrant of the National Counselling and Psychotherapy Society (NCPS).

My qualifications include:

Level 4 Diploma in Therapeutic Counselling at The Counselling and Psychotherapy Training Academy (CPTA) awarded by (CPCAB)

Level 3 Certificate in Counselling Studies (CPCAB)

Level 2 Certificate in Counselling Skills (CPCAB)

Level 2 Certificate in Awareness of Mental Health Problems

Level 2 Certificate in Self-Harm and Suicide Awareness and Prevention

Life isn’t always easy. Connections and talking can make the difference between feeling overwhelmed and being able to cope with what life throws at us.
