About me and my therapy practice

Have you experienced painful relationships that left you feeling disconnected, anxious, or hurt? Do you find yourself caught in emotional ups and downs, or struggling with feelings you don’t fully understand?

You are not alone.

I support individuals navigating the impact of relational trauma, grief, anxiety, depression, and life transitions. 

My approach helps you foster greater emotional balance, and come home to a stronger, more grounded and resilient sense of self.

As an integrative therapist, my work is grounded in Emotionally Focused Individual Therapy (EFIT), blended with somatic and trauma-informed approaches. This means I support you not only in understanding your experience—but also in processing and healing it gently and safely.

I bring over 17 years of NHS experience as a nurse, along with counselling experience in both NHS and private practice settings. I have supported individuals navigating complex trauma, PTSD, chronic illness, cancer diagnoses, anxiety, depression, loss, body image concerns, and a range of emotional distress.

You are welcome just as you are and will be met with deep respect for your pace, your story, and your inner strength.

Practice description

At the heart of my work is a belief in your innate capacity for healing and growth. My approach is engaged and grounded in a deep understanding of how trauma impacts us and our relationships.

I offer a warm, compassionate space where you can begin to feel safe enough to explore what’s difficult and tender.

We will work together to enhance self-awareness, nurture self-compassion, and develop a stronger sense of self.

Together, we will explore the emotional patterns that shape your inner world — and  how past experiences may have impacted your sense of self and your relationships. 

My aim is to support an inner transformation — helping you move toward deeper self-awareness, self-compassion, and emotional resilience.

My first session

Before our session, I will send you some simple paperwork, including the initial working agreement, privacy details, and a brief form to complete. This helps us start smoothly and ensures you feel informed and safe.

The session itself is a gentle space for you to share what brings you here, your hopes, and anything important from your story. This is also a chance for both of us to get a sense of whether working together feels like a good fit, with no expectation to continue unless it feels right for you.

Above all, my goal is to create a respectful, trusting, and attuned therapeutic space for you.
