About me and my therapy practice

Our sessions are a compassionate space to make sense of where you are now and to think about how you want things to be moving forward. This making-sense unfolds at your pace, without judgment or pressure.

I offer both longer-term, in-depth work and shorter-term sessions. Whether you’re experiencing anxiety, depression, feeling stuck, overwhelmed, unsure about how to navigate relationships or life changes. We can find language for what might feel confusing, overwhelming, or hard to name.

This process often involves reconnecting with parts of yourself you may have lost touch with, examining patterns that keep repeating, building trust in the world and yourself, setting boundaries, or making sense of emotions that can become too much. All aspects of experience will enrich our work: fears, dreams, memories, and doubts. As we work together, meaning begins to emerge.

If you'd like, we can begin with a short phone call to get a sense of each other and think about where we might begin.

Practice description

I believe our childhood relationships teach us how to love and how to work. Family experiences profoundly shape how we navigate life as adults and the protective strategies we once needed can limit our ability to be flexible in the present. These early adaptations often show up in relationships, in how we handle success or failure, or in the inner pressure to get things "right."

Many of the people I work with are insightful, capable, and outwardly successful but find it difficult to rest in this reality. Inside, they may feel overwhelmed, disconnected, or unsure of who they are. You might be burnt out from always holding things together, caught in perfectionism, or struggling to ask for help. Therapy offers a space to slow down, reflect, and begin to relate differently to yourself and others.

I attend regular supervision and place ongoing learning at the heart of my practice. I'm currently undertaking an MSc in Psychotherapy (UKCP-accredited), and regularly attend NSPA conferences, workshops, and lectures. As a practicing member, I follow Íø±¬ÃÅ ethical guidelines in all my work.

My first session

Before our first session, we can speak on the phone so you can get a sense of what I'm like and ask me any questions you might have. I will also ask you some questions to get a general sense of what you would like from our sessions and how life is for you at the moment. This conversation is fifteen minutes and is free. If you would like to arrange speaking then please get in touch via email or text.

Our first session will be 50 minutes long, either in-person or online. This is where the work will really begin. There will be space for you to lay out what is going on for you in greater detail.

About me and my therapy practice

Psychotherapy and counselling offer a space to reflect on your experiences, make sense of what’s shaped you, and think about how you want to move forward. It’s a place where your story can unfold at your pace, without judgment or pressure.

I offer longer-term, in-depth work for those who want to explore beneath the surface—whether you’re experiencing anxiety, depression, feeling stuck, overwhelmed, or unsure about how to navigate relationships or life changes. Together, we can begin to put words to what might feel confusing, painful, or hard to name.

This process often involves reconnecting with parts of yourself you may have lost touch with—examining patterns that keep repeating, rebuilding trust in yourself, setting boundaries, or making sense of emotions that feel too much or not enough. All aspects of your experience are welcome here: your fears, dreams, memories, and doubts.

As the relationship between us develops, it can become a space where meaning begins to emerge from what may have felt chaotic or heavy. Change often begins not with fixing, but with understanding—being truly heard, felt, and seen.

If you'd like, we can begin with a short phone call to get a sense of how it feels to speak together, and think about where the work might begin.

Practice description

Therapy is often most healing when people can express themselves freely, be playful and creative. You may bring struggles defined in broad terms: anxiety, depression, relationship issues, we will form a singular relationship and will work together to better understand your mind. It helps to remain curious about yourself without being critical - curious about why things are the way they are and to take responsibility for what is within your control. Beyond that, committing to being here - showing up each week on time and engaged - even when it feels really hard makes such a difference and can lead to work that will change your life.

I offer a strong, real and trusting relationship. This is the most important part of my job. I work people for all kinds of reasons; depression, anxiety, relationship breakdown, self-esteem issues to name a few. The therapy room provides a calm and supportive space in which problems of the past and present can be thought about together.

I have some availability for work in Clapham, Kensington and Central London, online or on the phone on Mondays, Tuesdays and Wednesdays. I offer a free short consultation phone call before our first session. Please get in touch if you'd like to see if we're a good fit.
