About me and my therapy practice
Hi, I'm Bianca (bee-AN-ka). I'm a Íø±¬ÃÅ registered therapist who creates warm, judgment-free spaces where you can be completely yourself.
How I Work:
I use different therapy approaches to create something that works specifically for you - combining supportive conversation with practical tools and understanding of patterns. No one-size-fits-all here.
What Makes My Practice Different:
• Genuinely collaborative - we work together at your pace
• Real-world focus - practical strategies you can actually use
• Welcoming to everyone from all backgrounds
• Understanding of neurodivergent minds and diverse experiences
My Therapy Space:
I offer online sessions and in-person appointments at my comfortable therapy space in Bow, East London. What makes it special? Bella, my gentle Cavapoo therapy dog, provides extra comfort for those who find animal-assisted support helpful.
What I Help With:
Anxiety, relationship challenges, work stress, life transitions, identity exploration, trauma recovery, and personal growth. Whether you're dealing with specific issues or simply want a safe space to understand yourself better, I'm here to support you.
My Approach:
Expect warmth, authenticity, and practical strategies that work with how your mind actually functions. Together, we'll build understanding and resilience for whatever life brings.
Practice description
What to Expect:
Starting therapy can feel daunting, so our first session focuses on getting comfortable and understanding what you need. We'll discuss what brings you here, explore your goals, and agree on how we'll work together.
My Style:
Client-led and adaptable - I adjust my approach to match what you need. I can be direct but kind, practical but understanding, or take a gentler pace if that works better for you. Expect genuine curiosity about your experiences and collaborative problem-solving that respects how your mind works.
Sessions:
• 50-minute weekly sessions (flexible timing)
• Complete confidentiality with clear boundaries
• Regular check-ins about what's working
• Exercises only if they feel helpful
What Makes My Practice Unique:
I work with people from all backgrounds, including LGBTQIA+ individuals, neurodivergent people, and diverse communities. My Bow therapy space includes Bella, my calm Cavapoo therapy dog, who provides comfort for those who benefit from animal-assisted support.
Practical Focus:
We'll tackle real-world challenges with tools you can actually use. Whether managing anxiety, navigating relationships, processing difficult experiences, or seeking self-understanding, we'll build strategies that fit your daily life.
Getting Started:
Contact me for a free 15-minute chat to see if we're a good match. No pressure - just honest conversation about whether I can help.
My first session
Before We Meet:
Free 15-minute consultation by phone or video - no commitment, just an honest chat to see if we're a good fit.
Your First Session:
50 minutes at standard rate (£80, or reduced if eligible). This isn't an assessment - it's the start of our work together.
What We'll Cover:
• What's brought you to therapy
• What you're hoping to achieve
• How you prefer to work
• Our therapy agreement and confidentiality
You share only what feels comfortable - no pressure to dive deep immediately. I'll ask questions to understand your situation, but you set the pace.
For in-person sessions, we'll discuss whether you'd like Bella (my therapy dog) present - completely your choice.
