About me and my therapy practice

I am a Íø±¬ÃÅ- and UKCP-registered integrative psychotherapist, working with children, young people, and adults.

Being neurodivergent myself, and a parent to a neurodivergent child, I specialise in supporting autistic, ADHD, PDA, and highly sensitive clients. I believe that neurodivergent children and adults face particular challenges in accessing safe spaces where their unique lived experience can be explored without judgment or misunderstanding. This is especially important given the systemic injustices and oppression many of us have experienced—and to some extent internalised—growing up and living in a world not designed for us.

I am passionate about creating a non-pathologising, respectful space where clients can reconnect with themselves with greater compassion and freedom.

I have worked with diverse groups of children and adults across various settings, including primary and secondary schools, the charity sector, and private practice. I currently work for a charity supporting adult survivors of gender-based violence and sexual abuse.

My training includes an MA in Integrative Child and Adolescent Psychotherapy and a Postgraduate Diploma in Counselling.

Practice description

My approach is integrative and relational, drawing on elements from multiple theoretical perspectives, including psychodynamic, humanistic, and attachment-based theories. At the heart of my work is the belief that genuine healing happens within relationships. I therefore place great importance on building a secure, trusting, and authentic therapeutic connection.

I work from a deeply neuro-affirming perspective and am guided by what works best for each individual client, aiming to create a therapeutic space that is truly inclusive and welcoming to all.

I have experience supporting clients with a range of challenges, including depression, anxiety, low self-esteem, relational difficulties, complex trauma, masking, burnout, rejection sensitivity, exploring gender, sexuality, or identity, grief, and loss. I work in a trauma-informed way, placing great emphasis on collaboration, emotional safety, and attunement to each client’s individual pace and needs.

When working with children, I often encourage creative forms of expression, using play, art, and metaphor to help young people communicate what can be difficult to express in words.

I am an LGBTQIA+ affirmative practitioner, and I offer therapy in English, Italian, and Hungarian.
