About me and my therapy practice
Thank you for taking the time to learn a little more about me. I’m a fully qualified Person-Centred Counsellor, a Registered Member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (MÍø±¬ÃÅ), and a certified ADHD-CCSP (ADHD-Certified Clinical Services Provider). I'm also a qualified Life Coach, offering a holistic approach to emotional wellbeing, personal growth, and self-discovery. This can be offered as a standalone service or integrated into your therapeutic journey — tailored to what you need.
My aim is to provide a safe, non-judgmental, and supportive space where you can explore what’s going on for you, identify what you need, and discover a way forward that feels right for you.
I work primarily from a Person-Centred perspective, which means I won’t offer advice or direction. Instead, I’ll support you in developing a deeper understanding of yourself so that you can make informed decisions that align with who you truly are.
I believe that counselling can be a transformative experience. With the right support, we can process and heal from past wounds, build emotional resilience, and create lasting change.
Therapy is your space, your pace — you are in control of the journey.
Who I work with
I work with adults (18+) and welcome people from all walks of life. I have specialist experience supporting clients with:
ADHD (diagnosed or suspected)
Trauma and complex PTSD
Abuse (past or present)
Bereavement and grief
Chronic illness and long-term health conditions
Anxiety, depression, low mood, and self-esteem
Life transitions and identity issues
Practice description
Before becoming a counsellor, I worked in the NHS for over 20 years, specialising in supporting people with long-term physical health conditions, such as chronic pain, cancer, strokes, and heart disease.
I also volunteered with Macmillan Cancer Support and Cruse Bereavement Support, where I’ve worked with people navigating grief, loss, and serious illness.
This background has given me a deep appreciation for the emotional impact of health conditions and the importance of compassionate, person-centred care.
I'm trained in Person-Centred Counselling, which means I won't tell you what to do or offer advice. Instead, I’ll support you in understanding yourself more deeply so that you can make decisions that feel right for you. You are the expert in your own life — I’m here to help you reconnect with that knowledge.
ADHD Support
As an ADHD-Certified Clinical Services Provider (ADHD-CCSP), I’m specially trained to support individuals with ADHD or traits of ADHD. Whether you’ve been recently diagnosed or are exploring the possibility, I can help you work through emotional, behavioural, relationship, or self-esteem challenges in a way that feels empowering and validating.
Life Coaching
In addition to counselling, I offer Life Coaching for those looking to develop confidence, gain clarity, set meaningful goals, or make personal or professional changes.
