About me and my therapy practice
I’m a psychodynamic counsellor and psychotherapist working with individuals and couples who want to better understand themselves and their relationships. Together, we can explore your thoughts, feelings, and challenges to uncover the deeper roots of your struggles—whether it’s fear of intimacy, unresolved past experiences or feeling unseen in relationships. Therapy provides a safe, supportive space where you can slow down and start making sense of your patterns in a new way. Through self-awareness, you can begin to untangle what’s holding you back and create meaningful change in how you relate to yourself and others.
Alongside my private practice, I work as a visiting clinician in Tavistock Relationships’ main clinical service. I am additionally experienced in one of Tavistock Relationships specialist services, focusing on supporting individuals and couples facing divorce or separation.
I’m a registered member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (MÍø±¬ÃÅ) and comply with Íø±¬ÃÅ’s Ethical Framework for Good Practice. I engage in ongoing supervision and professional development to maintain and enhance the quality of my practice.
I hold a Post Graduate Diploma in Couple & Individual Psychodynamic Counselling and Psychotherapy (Tavistock Relationships & UEL) and an MSc in Psychology (Birkbeck College).
Practice description
Individual Therapy
Therapy can be a valuable support during challenging times, whether you're feeling unhappy, distressed, or struggling in your relationships. Together, we can explore your thoughts and feelings with compassion and patience, helping you work through your experiences and navigate difficult emotions. While therapy takes time, it offers the potential for deep understanding and lasting emotional wellbeing.
Couple Therapy
In couple therapy, we can work together to help you and your partner address relationship challenges. You may feel that your needs aren’t being met, or there may be feelings of hurt and disappointment. Perhaps you find yourselves arguing about the same things or getting stuck in a cycle of misunderstandings. Couple therapy provides a reflective space to explore such difficulties, improve communication and identify unhelpful patterns while understanding their origins. This process can empower you to break the cycle of blame and develop more constructive ways of relating.
My first session
You can contact me by email to schedule an initial consultation. During this meeting, we will discuss your current difficulties and decide if ongoing work together would be beneficial and suitable for you. If we decide to proceed, we will arrange weekly sessions at a time that works for both of us. The fee for the consultation is £80 for individuals and £120 for couples. What I can help with
