About me and my therapy practice

My approach is integrative which means I create personalised treatment plans to best meet the unique needs of each client.

My aim is provide a safe, non-judgemental space for children, young people and adults to express themselves, explore and process emotions and develop the tools needed to navigate life's challenges. I work collaboratively with all my clients, recognising that they are the experts on their own experiences, to help build resilience and achieve their therapeutic goals.

If you only take away one thing: I put my clients at the heart of everything I do. I am deeply passionate about making all my clients feel comfortable and safe as I know that the work starts when you don’t feel like strangers anymore.

Committed to inclusivity, I am a member of Pink Therapy signifying my dedication to serving LGBTQIA+ communities and work extensively with gender and sexual diversity.

I am also a supervisor and clinical assessor.

Practice description

I currently work in private practice with adults, young people, children and families. However, I have previous experience working in the NHS, charities, and the education system since 2006. My extensive training as an integrative child and adolescent psychotherapist and my background in CBT and couples counselling means I work with clients aged 5 years old to adults.

I approach my work in a way that puts my clients at the centre of everything. It is vital that you feel safe in the space and for my method of working with you to resonate. I therefore don’t believe in a one-size-fits-all approach and understand that talking therapy may not suit everyone. I believe in using the therapeutic value of the arts and often pull-on art, music and sand as some of the ways of exploring difficult emotions that can be challenging to verbally communicate.

As an integrative psychotherapist, my approach is client-centred, which means I work in a bespoke way to suit you, your child or family, and I offer a free initial consultation where I am happy to discuss your needs in more detail.

My first session

The first session is all about getting to know each other better. I am happy to answer any and all questions you may have about our therapeutic work and the ways in which we might work together.

It can be useful to think together about what your goals are for therapy in this session so we are able to reflect back on those in the future to help guide our work.

The first session may be longer than the usual 50 minutes, so I ask clients to allow for a 90 minute session.

I currently have availability for online supervision sessions.

About me and my therapy practice

I'm an integrative and psychodynamic therapist and supervisor, with a background in working with children and adolescents, as well as adults and families. My supervision approach is collaborative, reflective, and relational — I aim to create a space where you feel safe to bring the full complexity of your work.

My supervision training had a strong focus on intersectionality, and I pay close attention to how power, identity, and context show up in the therapeutic and supervisory relationship. I welcome therapists at all stages of their journey and from a wide range of modalities and backgrounds.

Supervision with me is a space to think openly — about clinical material, emotional responses, ethical dilemmas, and your development as a practitioner. I hope to offer something steady, thoughtful, and attuned to the realities of practice.

Practice description

I offer supervision to therapists and trainees working with children, young people, adults, and families. Sessions are typically 60 minutes and can take place online or in person, depending on your preference. I offer regular ongoing supervision, as well as ad-hoc or top-up sessions if you're looking for short-term support around a particular issue.

In supervision, you can expect a reflective, grounded space where we can talk openly about your client work, the emotional impact of the role, and any questions or dilemmas you’re holding. I aim to balance support with gentle challenge, and encourage honest conversation — whether things are going well or feeling stuck.

I’m trained integratively and psychodynamically, and I supervise across modalities. I have particular experience supporting those working in schools, with safeguarding responsibilities, or navigating complex family dynamics.

I'm happy to have an initial conversation to see if we're a good fit.
