About me and my therapy practice
Are you experiancing:
- Anxiety, depression, or low mood
- ADHD, Autism, or neurodivergence
- Stress, burnout, or overwhelm
- Low self-esteem or confidence
- Trauma, grief, or shame
- Relationship or family challenges
- Identity exploration or social anxiety
- Chronic health conditions or disability
If you're feeling overwhelmed, stuck, or unable to put emotions into words, you're not alone. I offer a warm, inclusive space to explore your thoughts and feelings—through conversation, creativity, or both.
Who I support:
With a background in health and social care, I’ve supported people living with Dementia, Learning Disabilities, Autism, mental health challenges, and those facing grief, trauma, or end-of-life care. I also work closely with:
- Younger adults 18-30
- LGBTQ+ communities
- Family Carers and adults who were young carers
- People living with chronic illness or disability
- Siblings of disabled people
Your experiences matter. You deserve support that honours your story.
Why Creative Counselling?
Sometimes talking is enough. Other times, creativity helps unlock what words can’t reach. We’ll explore tools that suit your needs:
- Art (Drawing & Painting) – Express emotions through colour and form
- Clay & Collage – Explore your inner world through texture and shape
- Music & Movement – Reconnect with your body and emotions
- Creative Writing – Discover your voice and make sense of your story
- Drama & Storytelling – Step into your narrative and gain clarity
- Sandtray Therapy – Visualise your thoughts and gain new insights
- Written Word & Metaphor – Reflect on meaningful texts and themes
Whether we talk, create, or simply sit with what’s present—every session is shaped around you.
I offer a free, informal 20-minute chat by phone or video—so you can ask questions, get a feel for how I work, and decide if we’re the right fit.
Visit www.createsupport.org.uk to book your free consultation.
You matter. Let’s create a space where you feel supported.
Practice description
How I Can Help:
As a practitioner I have shared lived experience with my client groups, I live with Fibromyalgia and CFS and other hidden conditions, so offer only online arts counselling.
We'd work together to help you navigate your emotions, relationships, and personal challenges.
Using a variety of art forms, we can find the best way for you to express yourself and understand your feelings.
For many people, online therapy is just as effective as in-person therapy. It can help you manage work/life/family balance, support access due to disability or health, and be cost-effective without the need to travel to a venue. You can also be comfortable at home when we work together.
My first session
In our first session we'll discuss what brings you to counselling and what you're hopes and expectations of creative counselling are.
We can discuss any adjustments or access needs for you to attend - I can offer an additional half an hour to sessions for people with neurodiversity to support settling in time and focus.
Full details on how I facilitate access to counselling is on my website www.createsupport.org under, Access.
