I work in Brighton on a Tuesday afternoon and Thursday until late evening.

I work at a clinic in Burgess Hill on Wednesdays and Fridays.

About me and my therapy practice

I completed specialist Child and Adolescent training in integrative psychotherapy (meaning different theoretical approaches combined into a whole) at Terapia in London. The training equipped me to work in a range of therapeutic techniques including but not limited to, creative arts, sand tray, art, music, clay, play therapy and talking therapy. The foundation of the training is understanding the development of children and teenagers throughout the life course and developing advanced observation skills.

I am a trauma informed therapist and work hard to make the therapy relationship and space feel safe and comfortable from the start. I have a special interest in attachment difficulties and adverse childhood experiences and have completed training in EMDR, a specialist trauma therapy, as well as attachment based parenting support and working with complex trauma and dissociation in children, teenagers and adults.

I have worked therapeutically in a range of settings including  child bereavement services, complex grief and trauma, early intervention social care services, Looked After and Adopted Services, and early intervention Child & Adolescent Mental health services.

Practice description

I believe that the therapeutic relationship is key to healing distress and difficulties, to build self resilience, and to develop self awareness and coping skills. I will work hard to build a trusting relationship within a confidential and non judgmental space.

Children and teenagers exits within a system of relationships, and essential within this system are parents and carers. When working with parents, I see my role as supporting them in thinking about how to understand and support their children through difficult periods in their lives, and to work alongside parents to utilise therapeutic thinking in their daily lives.

I offer short and long term therapy and work hard to be open and transparent about the length of therapy and the desired aims of the work.

I work from a spacious office in Brighton, which is fully equipped with all the items needed for art and creative work.

My office has a lift and is wheelchair accessible. There is reasonably priced on-street parking, with the option to reserve a space in our private car park.  There is also a bathroom and a waiting area for clients and/their parents.

I offer a complimentary introductory phone call to make sure I'm the right therapist for you. Following that, I would want to meet for a full session to better understand the issue you want support with and to begin to formulate a treatment plan. About me and my therapy practice

As a qualified and experienced Clinical Supervisor, I offer reflective, supportive, and relational supervision to counsellors, psychotherapists, and professionals working with children, adolescents, and young people.

I am a UKCP-registered Integrative Child & Adolescent Psychotherapist and Member of Íø±¬ÃÅ, with over 25 years’ experience in youth work, specialist bereavement services, commissioned therapeutic programmes, and in private practice.

My supervision approach is collaborative, creative, and grounded in safety. I aim to offer a space where you can explore both the richness and the challenges of your work — with curiosity, honesty, and care. Supervision is not only about maintaining ethical standards; it’s about sustaining your wellbeing and deepening your professional identity and skills.

I work with qualified and trainee therapists in both individual and small-group formats, supporting practitioners across independent practice, school settings, and charitable organisations.

My background includes leadership within a commissioned adolescent service, and extensive experience supporting children and families affected by loss, trauma, and complex mental health and emotional needs. I understand the pressures and rewards of frontline therapeutic work — and the importance of feeling held as you hold others.

If you’re seeking a supervision relationship that is thoughtful, transparent, and growth-focused, I’d be delighted to discuss how we might work together.

Practice description

  • I provide a range of supervision and reflective practice options for those supporting children, young people, and families:

    * Clinical supervision for counsellors, psychotherapists, and mental health practitioners.

    * Organisational and team supervision for managers and leaders in charities, social care, health, and education.

    * Reflective practice groups for professionals such as teachers, SENCOs, youth workers, and wellbeing staff.

My style is relational, trauma-informed, and integrative — helping supervisees to think creatively, manage risk safely, stay emotionally resourced in demanding roles, and explore new skills and areas of practice.

My goal is always to create a reflective space that strengthens confidence, supports ethical decision-making, and promotes compassionate, sustainable practice.

I also offer specialist input in:

    * Bereavement and loss work (15+ years’ experience)

    * Complex trauma, dissociation, and EMDR

    * Attachment-based and therapeutic parenting approaches

    * Service leadership and clinical governance (Íø±¬ÃÅ-accredited)

    * Trainee development

Whether you’re a newly qualified therapist or an experienced practitioner my supervision offers a balance of containment, challenge, and creativity.

My first session

I offer a no obligation 30-minute consultation via phone or video call to explore your supervision needs. This is a chance for us both to sense whether the fit feels right.

In our first supervision session, explore structure that suits your practice — identifying focus areas, frequency, and goals. My intention is to offer a space where you feel safe, supported, and empowered to explore your therapeutic work, professional growth, and wellbeing.
