About me and my therapy practice
About Me
Hi, I’m Jonathan. I’m a qualified and experienced counsellor based in London N15, and I’m here to help you navigate life’s challenges in a safe, supportive, and non-judgmental space.
Life can feel overwhelming at times, and it’s not always easy to know where to turn. Whether you’re dealing with anxiety, stress, relationship issues, low self-esteem, or simply feeling stuck - my goal is to help you make sense of your experiences, find clarity, and move forward with confidence.
How I Work
I believe that therapy works best when it is genuine conversation. My approach is warm, empathetic, and collaborative. I draw on person-centred and integrative methods, which means I tailor my approach to suit your unique needs and goals. Together, we’ll explore what’s going on for you, uncover patterns that might be holding you back, and work towards meaningful change.
I’m not here to tell you what to do or give you all the answers. Instead, I’ll help you tap into your own strengths and resources so you can make decisions that feel right for you.
I have a Post Graduate Diploma in Psychosynthesis Counselling from the Psychosynthesis Trust. I am a registered member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy. As well as private practice I work with Waythrough as an Addiction Service Counsellor.
I work with clients from diverse backgrounds, respecting and celebrating individuality. Sessions are available in-person in London or online, providing flexibility to suit your schedule.

What to Expect
Starting therapy can feel like a big step, and I want to make it as comfortable as possible for you. In our sessions, you’ll have the space to talk openly about whatever’s on your mind. There’s no pressure, no judgment—just a safe and confidential environment where you can be yourself.
I work with individuals from all walks of life, and I’m committed to creating an inclusive space where everyone feels welcome and respected.
Getting Started
If you’re thinking about therapy but aren’t sure if it’s right for you, I offer a free 15-minute phone consultation. This is a chance for us to chat about what’s brought you here, answer any questions you might have, and see if we’re a good fit.
Taking the first step can feel daunting, but it’s also a powerful act of self-care. If you’re ready to explore how therapy can help, I’d love to hear from you.
Many practitioners write a list of issues they work with. I take a different approach. You are more than a label or a diagnosis, so let’s have a discussion to see how I can be of service to you.
I do have some specialism and particular interest, these are:
Addiction
Grief and Endings
LGBTQIA+ Issues
Stuckness/Creative Block
I warmly welcome all clients to my practice and work with a wide range of differing ages, cultures, faiths abilities and backgrounds. I am a member of the LGBTQ+ community and welcome clients from this group.
I work with the following Health Insurance Companies
WPA
Aviva
Vitality
Freedom

The first session, a chargeable assessment, is an opportunity for us to meet and get to each other, to clarify the contract of how I work and to cover the important questions to make sure you are ethically safeguarded in accordance with the Íø±¬ÃÅ.
It will also be a space for you to ask any questions you may have about me or the counselling process and to talk about what brings you to counselling.
At the end of this session we should have a good idea as to whether we want to work together and continue with further sessions, although you may want to think it over for a few days.

About me and my therapy practice
Hi, I'm Jonathan. I'm a qualified counsellor based in London, and I believe that everyone deserves a dedicated space to be truly heard. In the rush of daily life, we rarely get a chance to pause and untangle what we're truly feeling. My role is to hold a calm, confidential space where you can do just that.
Think of therapy not as a task, but as a journey of reacquainting yourself with your own inner world. We will gently explore your thoughts and feelings, not to 'fix' you, but to understand the patterns and stories that shape your life. It's in this understanding that you naturally begin to find your own clarity and strength. My approach is rooted in the belief that you are the expert on your own life, and I am a compassionate guide alongside you. Whether you're facing a specific crisis or a general sense of unease, I am here to help you navigate your path forward with greater awareness and confidence.
Practice description
My Approach: Deeper Than Talk Therapy
I believe you are more than a list of symptoms or a diagnosis. My approach is built on genuine, collaborative conversation where you are truly heard.
My core training is in Psychosynthesis, a form of therapy that doesn't just focus on relieving distress but also on connecting you to your strengths and potential. This means we work on your current challenges while also exploring a deeper sense of meaning and direction for your life.
I am warm, empathetic, and here to help you tap into your own inner resources. I won't give you the answers, but I will help you find the ones that feel right for you.
What I Specialise In
While I welcome a wide range of issues, I have a particular focus and experience in:
Addiction & Substance Dependency
Grief, Loss & Endings
LGBTQIA+ Issues & Identity
Creative Blocks & Feeling Stuck
I am a member of the LGBTQ+ community and warmly welcome individuals from all backgrounds, cultures, and identities.
