About me and my therapy practice
Feeling stuck or behind in life?
Therapy to explore identity, direction & self-worth
You may have imagined life would look different by now 鈥 perhaps in your career, relationships, or your sense of self. Outwardly, things might appear fine, even successful 鈥 yet inwardly, you鈥檙e feeling stuck, disconnected, or unsure of your next steps.
It can seem as though everyone else is moving forward while you鈥檙e left questioning your path, your purpose, or whether you鈥檙e 鈥渆nough.鈥 High expectations 鈥 from family, society, or even yourself 鈥 can leave you feeling overwhelmed or lost, especially when life hasn鈥檛 gone to plan.
You might find yourself asking:
- Why haven鈥檛 I achieved what others have 鈥 or why doesn鈥檛 it feel like enough?
- What do I really want now?
- Why do I keep doubting myself?
Whether you're navigating a major life decision, the end of a relationship, burnout, a diagnosis, or simply wondering 鈥淲ho even am I anymore?鈥 鈥 therapy offers a calm, confidential space to explore what鈥檚 going on beneath the surface.

About me and my therapy practice
Feeling stuck or left behind in life?
Do you ever find yourself scrolling through social media, watching other people鈥檚 lives unfold, and wondering 鈥淲hy hasn鈥檛 that happened for me?鈥 Maybe you鈥檙e still living at home, your social circle feels small, and relationships feel out of reach. You might compare yourself to others, feel unmotivated, or wonder if you're somehow falling short.
Perhaps it鈥檚 hard to meet new people, and you鈥檝e started to question your own value. You want more for yourself 鈥 more confidence, more connection, more direction 鈥 but it鈥檚 hard to know where to begin. You might be craving a sense of belonging, wanting to feel good in yourself, and wondering how to take the next step.
If this sounds familiar, therapy can help. It鈥檚 a space where you don鈥檛 have to have it all figured out 鈥 a space to explore what鈥檚 holding you back and what might help you move forward.
If you鈥檙e ready to feel more connected to yourself and your life, you鈥檙e very welcome to get in touch.
Practice description
In my practice, I offer a calm, compassionate and non-judgemental space where we can explore whatever鈥檚 going on for you 鈥 at your own pace. Whether you're struggling with anxiety, low mood, identity, relationships, or the lasting impact of trauma, I work with care and curiosity to support you in making sense of your experiences and finding a way forward.
My approach is person-centred, meaning I won鈥檛 try to fix you or tell you what to do. Instead, I鈥檒l walk alongside you as you begin to understand yourself more deeply, trust your own voice, and develop greater self-compassion.
Clients often tell me they appreciate my down-to-earth and gently challenging style. I bring warmth, acceptance and humour into the work where appropriate, and I鈥檒l meet you wherever you are 鈥 whether this is your first time in therapy or you鈥檙e returning to it after a break.
I work with adults aged 18+, both online across the UK and face-to-face in the Ludlow area. I offer a free 15-minute consultation to help you get a feel for how I work and whether we might be a good fit.
If you鈥檙e ready to explore your next steps, you鈥檙e very welcome to get in touch.
My first session
I offer a free 15-minute phone or video call to give you a chance to see if I feel like the right fit for you before committing to a full session. It鈥檚 an informal space for you to ask any questions, share what鈥檚 bringing you to therapy, and get a sense of how I work.
If you decide to go ahead, your first full session will be charged at my standard rate. This session is an opportunity for us to explore what鈥檚 going on for you, what you鈥檇 like to get out of therapy, and whether you鈥檙e looking for short-term support or something more open-ended. There鈥檚 no pressure to go into detail straight away 鈥 we鈥檒l go at your pace.
I may ask some gentle questions to help understand your background and current challenges, but you鈥檙e always in control of what you share.

About me and my therapy practice
Have you been through something that still feels hard to talk about?
Maybe something happened that shook your sense of safety 鈥 a difficult relationship, emotional neglect, a painful loss, or an experience that left you feeling powerless, ashamed, or numb. You might not call it 鈥渢rauma,鈥 but you know something鈥檚 not right.
You might find yourself always on edge, shutting down in relationships, avoiding certain people or places, or carrying a deep sense of guilt or shame. Perhaps you're struggling with flashbacks, people-pleasing, anger you don鈥檛 understand, or a feeling of being emotionally disconnected 鈥 even from yourself.
You may be asking:
- Why can鈥檛 I just move on?
- Why does this still affect me?
- Who would I be without this pain?
The truth is, trauma doesn鈥檛 go away just because time has passed 鈥 but healing is absolutely possible. In therapy, we can work together to understand what鈥檚 happened, how it鈥檚 affecting you now, and what might help you feel safer, more grounded, and more in control of your life again.
If this sounds familiar, you鈥檙e not alone 鈥 and you don鈥檛 have to go through it alone either. You鈥檙e very welcome to get in touch when you feel ready.
