About me and my therapy practice

I offer a warm, down-to-earth space for adults who feel overwhelmed, anxious, or unsure of who they are. Many of the people I work with are carrying the impact of past experiences, living with anxiety or health worries, or questioning their identity and sense of belonging. Others come to therapy because they have been coping for so long that they feel disconnected from themselves and aren鈥檛 sure where to begin.

I also work with clients exploring neurodivergence, such as ADHD or autism, and offer a space where you don鈥檛 have to mask or feel pressure to change who you are. Therapy can be a place to understand yourself better, build self-acceptance, and find ways to navigate life that feel more authentic and manageable.

Whether we meet online or face-to-face in Ludlow, Shropshire, my aim is to help you feel heard, understood, and supported. Therapy offers time to pause and make sense of what you鈥檙e carrying, so you can begin to feel more grounded and connected to yourself. You don鈥檛 need to have everything figured out before starting 鈥 we鈥檒l go at your pace, focusing on what feels most important for you.

I believe that counselling is not about fixing you but about creating a space where you can explore your experiences, feelings, and relationships without judgement. Together, we can look at patterns in your life, where they come from, and how they might be affecting you now. This understanding can open the door to new ways of relating to yourself and others, helping you move towards a life that feels more balanced, meaningful, and true to who you are.

Practice description

Life can feel overwhelming at times. You may be carrying the impact of past trauma, struggling with anxiety or health worries, or questioning your identity and place in the world. Perhaps you find yourself caring for everyone else while neglecting your own needs, or you鈥檝e been coping for so long that it鈥檚 hard to know where to start.

Therapy offers you space to pause, reflect, and make sense of what you鈥檙e carrying. You don鈥檛 need to have everything figured out 鈥 we鈥檒l go at your pace, focusing on what feels most important for you.

I hold a BSc (Hons) in Counselling and Psychotherapy, which included training in how past experiences can shape present thoughts, feelings, and behaviours. My core training is in person-centred counselling, offering a compassionate, non-judgemental space where you can explore what鈥檚 on your mind at your own pace.

When helpful, I integrate ideas from CBT, mindfulness, somatic practices, and solution-focused work so our sessions are flexible and tailored to you, rather than following a one-size-fits-all approach.

I offer support with:

Trauma & Abuse Recovery 鈥 making sense of the past, rebuilding trust, and easing feelings of guilt, shame, or low self-worth.

Anxiety & Health Anxiety 鈥 understanding worry cycles, learning grounding techniques, and reducing reliance on reassurance.

Family & Relationship Struggles 鈥 exploring boundaries, communication, and patterns that keep you stuck.

Neurodiversity-Affirming Support 鈥 space to explore ADHD, autism, or feeling 鈥渄ifferent,鈥 without pressure to mask or change who you are.

Practical details

Where: Online (UK-wide) or face-to-face at The Wetmore Clinic, Onibury (near Ludlow)

Fees: 拢50 per 50-minute session (some reduced-rate spaces available)

Frequency: Weekly, fortnightly, or flexible depending on your needs

My first session

I offer a free 15-minute phone or video call to give you a chance to see if I feel like the right fit for you before committing to a full session. It鈥檚 an informal space for you to ask any questions, share what鈥檚 bringing you to therapy, and get a sense of how I work.

If you decide to go ahead, your first full session will be charged at my standard rate. This session is an opportunity for us to explore what鈥檚 going on for you, what you鈥檇 like to get out of therapy, and whether you鈥檙e looking for short-term support or something more open-ended. There鈥檚 no pressure to go into detail straight away 鈥 we鈥檒l go at your pace.

I may ask some gentle questions to help understand your background and current challenges, but you鈥檙e always in control of what you share.

Whether you鈥檝e had therapy before or this is your first time, you鈥檙e very welcome just as you are. My priority is to offer a calm, supportive and non-judgemental space where you can begin to explore what matters to you.

About me and my therapy practice

Do you sometimes feel like you should have it all together, yet find yourself feeling anxious, stuck, or unsure of who you are?

Perhaps you spend so much time looking after everyone else that you鈥檝e lost sight of your own needs. Or maybe you鈥檙e living with constant worry, health anxiety, or the weight of past experiences that still affect how you feel today.

I offer a warm, down-to-earth space for adults who feel overwhelmed, disconnected, or unsure where to begin. Many of the people I work with appear to be coping from the outside, yet inside they feel lost, anxious, or exhausted from trying to hold everything together.

Therapy offers time to pause and make sense of what you鈥檙e carrying. Together, we can explore your experiences, understand what鈥檚 behind your thoughts and emotions, and find ways to help you feel more grounded, confident, and at ease in yourself.

Neurodiversity-Affirming Counselling

I also offer neurodiversity-affirming therapy for clients exploring or living with ADHD, autism, or other forms of neurodivergence. In our sessions, you don鈥檛 need to mask or feel pressure to change who you are. Instead, we鈥檒l look at how to work with your unique way of thinking, feeling, and processing the world 鈥 so life can feel more authentic, balanced, and manageable.

As someone who is exploring my own possible ADHD diagnosis, I understand how validating it can be to talk with someone who truly 鈥済ets it.鈥 My approach is compassionate, curious, and supportive 鈥 recognising the strengths as well as the challenges that come with neurodivergence.

Practice description

How Therapy Can Help

Therapy can help you to:

Manage anxiety, low mood, and stress more effectively.

Reconnect with your identity and sense of self.

Understand how past experiences are influencing the present.

Build confidence, self-acceptance, and emotional balance.

Develop healthier boundaries and relationships in your life.

You don鈥檛 need to have everything figured out before starting. We鈥檒l go at your pace, focusing on what feels most important to you.

How I Work

My approach is person-centred and collaborative, offering empathy, warmth, and a genuine space to talk freely without judgement.

When helpful, I integrate ideas from CBT, mindfulness, somatic awareness, and solution-focused therapy, allowing sessions to be flexible and tailored to your needs.

I hold a BSc (Hons) in Counselling and Psychotherapy, which included training in how past experiences shape our thoughts, feelings, and behaviours. This helps us not only explore what you鈥檙e feeling, but understand why 鈥 and how that awareness can support meaningful change.

Counselling with me isn鈥檛 about 鈥渇ixing鈥 you; it鈥檚 about helping you understand yourself more deeply, make sense of your experiences, and move towards a life that feels more balanced, authentic, and true to who you are.
