About me and my therapy practice

Welcome

Taking the first step to talk to someone about how you're feeling can be daunting. Facing difficult emotions often brings uncertainty, and it’s completely natural to feel hesitant. Reaching out is not always easy—but it’s a powerful and courageous act of self-care.

Acknowledging your emotions and seeking support demonstrates strength and a commitment to your well-being. It’s the beginning of a journey toward healing, self-awareness, and personal growth. This process not only helps with the immediate challenges you may be facing but also empowers you with the tools and resilience to navigate life’s complexities with confidence.

About Me

I’m a fully qualified Integrative Psychotherapeutic Counsellor (BSc Hons) based in Norwich. I offer a safe, confidential, and non-judgmental space where you can explore your thoughts and feelings at your own pace.

My integrative approach draws from a range of therapeutic models, allowing me to tailor sessions to your individual needs. I understand that every person is unique—and what works for one may not work for another.

Specialist Support for Trauma Survivors

A significant part of my work focuses on supporting survivors of sexual abuse and rape. I bring empathy, sensitivity, and deep understanding to this area of therapy. I recognise the immense courage it takes to reach out after such trauma, and I am committed to creating a space where you feel safe, validated, and truly heard.

Together, we can gently explore the impact of your experiences, focusing on healing, rebuilding self-trust, and nurturing your resilience—always at a pace that feels right for you.

Practice description

What I Offer

One-to-one counselling – Short or long-term therapy, tailored to your individual needs.

A warm, confidential space – Whether you’re dealing with anxiety, depression, trauma, or life challenges, we can explore your concerns together at your own pace.

Specialist support for survivors of sexual abuse and rape – A safe, compassionate space to process experiences and work toward healing and empowerment.

Flexible sessions – Weekly or fortnightly appointments, depending on what works best for you.

Face-to-face and online therapy – Accessible support wherever you are.

Choosing the right therapist is an important step. It’s essential that you feel comfortable and supported throughout the process.

Please feel free to get in touch if you have any questions or would like to arrange an initial consultation. I’m here to support you on your journey.

My first session

In our first sessions, you’ll find a supportive and compassionate space where you can bring any issue you'd like to explore. As a sensitive and experienced listener, I work collaboratively with you to develop a deeper understanding of yourself and your needs.

I believe that greater self-awareness and self-acceptance empower us to make more meaningful choices and live in a way that feels true to who we are. While self-discovery can be challenging at times, it can also be a deeply rewarding and transformative journey when supported with care and understanding.

In addition to face-to-face sessions, I offer online counselling—providing accessible, flexible support from the comfort of your own home, wherever you are.
