About me and my therapy practice
I’m a Íø±¬ÃÅ registered psychotherapist who has experience working with:
Anxiety
Depression
Addiction
Relationship challenges
Sexuality and gender
Meaninglessness
Grief
Trauma - whether developmental or adult
Terminal illness
I’ve spent much of my life exploring the landscape of the inner world—the grief and joy, the stuckness and movement, the longing and the letting go. I come to this work with an MA in Counselling and Psychotherapy and a Certificate in Couple Counselling, but also with years of lived inquiry: through somatic practices, embodied movement, 12-step rooms, plant medicine journeys, silent meditation, truth-telling, and the wild, tender terrain of relationship.
I believe therapy is a place where the soul can breathe—where something real can unfold between us. I don’t promise to have all the answers, but I do offer my full presence and the skills to help you find your way home to yourself.
I’m a white man walking his own path of learning around power, privilege, and intersectionality, and I aim to bring that awareness gently into the space we share.
Whether you arrive carrying pain, confusion, or a quiet longing for something more, I’m here to meet you with honesty, care, and a willingness to listen—to what’s said, and to what’s waiting in the silence.

Practice description
I work on both a short-term and long-term basis.
The therapy I offer is collaborative, relational, and focused on emotions.
I help people work through emotional difficulties by combining a range of therapeutic approaches, with a strong focus on AEDP (Accelerated Experiential Dynamic Psychotherapy). My work is grounded in the understanding that healing occurs when we access and process the emotions beneath anxiety, depression, and self-defeating patterns.
In our sessions, I’ll help you slow down and tune into what you're really feeling—especially those emotions that are often just below the surface or hard to name. This process may bring up defenses or automatic ways of coping, and that’s completely okay. We’ll explore these reactions together with curiosity and care, creating a space for you to feel heard and understood.
I take an active and supportive approach—this isn’t therapy where I just sit back and listen. I’ll be right there with you, engaging with the emotions and challenges that arise, guiding you through them in a way that brings insight, relief, and lasting change. The goal isn’t just understanding but real transformation: helping you feel more connected to yourself, more in charge of your life, and better able to navigate challenges with confidence and clarity.
My first session
Our first session is completely free and is a great opportunity for us to get to know each other. We’ll talk about what’s going on in your life right now, what’s brought you to therapy, and and get a sense of some of the broader picture of your journey. It’s also a chance for you to ask any questions you have about me, my approach, or therapy in general. If we both feel that we’re a good fit, we’ll discuss the next steps, including what feels like a fair fee for our work together. The aim is for you to feel comfortable and clear about the process moving forward.
