Availability
My practice is open between 9am and 6pm on weekdays and I am currently accepting new clients who are interested in online or telephone therapy sessions.

Feel free to get in touch to ask about my upcoming availability. Where possible, I aim to respond to enquiries within one working day.
About me and my therapy practice
Are you struggling to cope with what life is throwing at you at the minute? Feel like you’ve been going through a lot and looking for support? Scrolling through and trying to find the right person for you? My name’s Dom and I might be able to help.
I'm Dom, an experienced counsellor and psychotherapist offering 1-to-1 online or phone therapy sessions to help support you through trying times. I specialise in working with adults based in the UK and I currently have availability on weekdays.
How can I help?
Imagine a place where:
- you’re met with compassion and understanding instead of judgement
 - you can choose what we talk about/work on and go at your own pace
 - you don’t have to pretend to be okay when you're not

That’s what I can offer you in our therapy sessions - a calm, caring and supportive space where we can work together to talk through what’s been going on, start figuring things out and hopefully find a way forward.
Practice description
My training and experience
- My initial therapy training was a postgraduate course in Counselling and Psychotherapy (MSc, accredited by the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy)
 - Since then, I have completed extensive specialist training in online and telephone counselling, along with workshops and CPD courses in a wide variety of different areas
 - I am trained in safeguarding both young people and adults
 - I have an enhanced DBS certificate (previously CRB) which enables me to work with vulnerable adults
 - I hold full professional insurance

I have further training and/or experience in the following areas (amongst others):
- anxiety
 - depression
 - self-esteem
 - relationships
 - bereavement and loss
 - LGBTQ+ issues
 - spirituality and personal beliefs
 - self-harm and suicide
 - trauma

I also have an interest in working with clients who are:
- musicians, performers or creatives
 - men
 - navigating bi/pansexuality

My first session
Over the course of about 50 minutes or so, we would be able to talk a bit about how you’re doing and what has led you to reach out for support. This will give you a taste of how I work and hopefully help you decide whether my approach feels right for you. There would also be a bit of admin for us to do and I would ask for a few details about you and your history.
Afterwards, we might decide straight away whether we can work together further or you might like to take some time to mull it over. There is no pressure to commit to any future sessions. I offer this first session at a reduced rate of £25. Any following sessions would be £45 each.
Next steps
Whether you’ve been to a therapist before or not, I know how daunting it can be to even consider getting in touch, let alone book in for an appointment.

 - I can also offer a free 20 minute phone call where we can have a chat about what you’re looking for and I can hopefully answer any questions you may have.
