About me and my therapy practice

Are you stuck in old patterns? Is something stopping you moving forward? Whether you're experiencing low mood or anxiety, dealing with relationship challenges, or perhaps facing big life transitions, I can help you make sense and find clarity.

I have worked with a variety of client groups across a range of private and charitable organisations.

As a qualified pluralistic therapist, I collaborate with my clients to find what works best for them in therapy. I don't believe there is a one-size-fits-all approach and recognise that each client's need is unique. I believe we all have inner resources to support our growth and healing, but during times of crisis or difficulty, it’s easy to lose connection with them.

My way of working reflects that belief and our therapy sessions can be a space to reconnect with those resources. Together, we’ll explore where you might be feeling stuck, identify what changes you’d like to make, and find ways to move forward that feel right for you.

Practice description

In my practice, I offer a warm, inclusive, and non-judgmental space where you can begin to make sense of what’s going on and move toward the changes you hope for. My approach is collaborative and flexible, drawing on a range of therapeutic methods—including person-centred, cognitive-behavioural, solution-focused approaches, and mindfulness practices.

If you’re navigating anxiety, low mood, relationship difficulties, or life transitions, you’re not alone. Whatever you’re facing, I aim to bring clarity and compassion to our work, helping you reconnect with a sense of hope, resilience, and direction.

What you can expect:

A flexible and personalised approach to therapy

A compassionate, supportive space to explore your thoughts and emotions

Regular check-ins to make sure our work continues to feel helpful and aligned with your goals.

I am committed to understanding what matters most to you, and working in partnership to create a therapy experience which really fits you.

My first session

I offer a free 20 minute introductory session, via telephone or online. I aim to respond to enquiries within 48 hours.

This initial meeting allows us to explore a little of what challenges are bringing you to counselling and whether we would be a good 'fit' to work together. Perhaps you're not sure where to start - we can explore that too.

Should you then wish to start therapy, our first session will usually involve some paperwork, questions and beginning to get a deeper understanding of the challenges you face. We will move forward at a pace that feels right for you.
