About me and my therapy practice

You're working so hard to keep things together. To be good enough. But sometimes it only takes one moment, or a series of small knocks to unsettle everything.

You may be facing a challenge that's left you feeling shaken, or disconnected, making it hard to find peace of mind. Or perhaps these feelings have been quietly building for years, tucked away beneath the surface, until something has brought them sharply into focus.

You may find yourself plagued by thoughts that you're just not strong enough to weather the storms that life brings. If you are feeling stuck, lost, or like things have become too much, I'm here to help.

In therapy, we work together to help you feel less overwhelmed and more able to face life as it comes.

I help people:

-  Find relief from anxiety and overthinking

-  Process and heal from past or recent trauma

-  Be kinder to themselves, instead of feeling they always need to  prove something

-  Feel less isolated and more connected to the people around          them

- Face life's challenges with greater resilience

Alongside my professional life, I am a partner, a parent, and someone who has faced challenges of my own. I understand how life's experiences can influence the way we see ourselves and relate to others, and I know how painful it can be to feel unseen and unheard.

Therapy helped me cope when things felt too much. it gave me space to understand what was going on beneath the surface, and that process continues to shape the way I listen, connect and work with others. It is part of what allows me to meet clients with care, respect, and a deep belief in their capacity to grow.

Practice description

I am an integrative therapist, which means I draw on a variety of approaches to tailor therapy to what works best for you. I work in a way that puts you at the centre, focusing on what matters most to you, at your own pace, in a safe and respectful space. Together we explore what is getting in the way and find ways to help you feel more confident, calm, and connected.

I pay attention to how past experiences, even those that might not seem significant, can affect how you feel, think and relate to others. This includes noticing how emotions can show up physically, such as tension or restlessness, and working gently with those responses to support healing.

My experience includes supporting clients dealing with anxiety, trauma, low self-esteem, grief, relationship difficulties, and life transitions. Alongside my private practice, I also work with adult survivors of sexual abuse. This has deepened my understanding of the many ways people cope with complex and painful experiences.

Sessions last 50 minutes and are usually weekly. I offer face-to face therapy from Kingston Bagpuize in Oxfordshire, as well as online sessions. I have both daytime and evening appointments to help fit therapy around your schedule.

I am a registered member of Íø±¬ÃÅ, follow their Code of Ethics, and have clinical supervision to ensure safe, thoughtful practice.

My first session

In the first session, we will start to unpack your concerns and look at what you hope to gain from therapy. This initial conversation often brings new insight, and can help clarify the direction of our work.

You can then decide whether you would like to continue with more sessions. There is no obligation to continue at any point.

If you feel ready to begin, or even if you're just curious about whether therapy might be right for you, you're very welcome to get in touch. I offer a free, no-obligation, 20-minute telephone call so that you can ask questions and get a feel for whether I would be right for you.

I respond to all enquiries by email within 24 hours (or on the next working day for enquiries received on weekends or bank holidays). Please check your spam/junk mail if you haven't received a response within this time.
