About me and my therapy practice

If you are looking to rediscover your true worth and build lasting self-esteem, I specialise in helping individuals overcome self-doubt, low confidence, and feelings of being unseen. 

Whether in-person at The Counselling Studio or online, I offer a compassionate, non-judgmental environment tailored to your needs.

As we build trust, you will begin to feel comfortable expressing yourself authentically, knowing you are supported through any pain or discomfort. This process helps you gain clarity, build self-awareness, and make positive changes in your life.

If you’re struggling with self-criticism, anxiety, depression, or past trauma, we will work together to uncover the root causes and break free from limiting beliefs. Through our work, you will gain a stronger sense of self-worth, learn to recognise your strengths, and develop healthier relationships with yourself and others. 

Low self-esteem can also impact many areas of life, from family dynamics to mental health challenges like anxiety, depression, and addictions. By addressing the underlying emotional difficulties, we can work toward healing and building a more confident, resilient you.

Ultimately, my goal is to help you rediscover your value and create a life filled with self-compassion, confidence, and inner strength. Together, we will help you overcome barriers and empower you to live authentically and fully.

Practice description

Individual therapy is a personal journey focused on your growth and self discovery. Together we explore the depths of your emotions, fostering an environment of self-awareness and empowerment. We collaboratively work towards you becoming the true self you have always wanted to be and look for contentment and peace within.

Everyday survival strategies tend to come from childhood, we can explore these together and learn new healthier coping mechanisms, understanding how you have previously survived from day to day, exploring dysfunctional behaviours and moving towards integration of the disowned and hurt parts of self from the past.

I support you to reconnect with yourself throughout your therapy journey. We access your whole self, learning methods for integration, helping you to experience emotional freedom, recognising future hopes and dreams, learning techniques of how to manage emotions, looking at boundaries, strengths and weaknesses, helping you to live everyday in a place of abundance. 


My first session

Initially, when you contact me I will offer a free 15 minute telephone consultation to discuss your expectations of therapy.

Your first session will be 1 hour and in this session we will start by working though a short assessment together, or this can be completed beforehand via email. Once completed, you can discuss with me what you would like to work on in therapy, if you have any fears or worries we will explore them, and look at goals and wishes for your therapeutic journey.
