About me and my therapy practice
Hello and welcome. I bring an authentic and compassionate presence to my work, driven by a passion for helping others. My specialities include loss and bereavement, as well as supporting adults who are adapting to major life transitions such as motherhood, menopause, relationships, and career shifts. We can often feel stressed, overwhelmed, and worried when faced with these significant life changes.
I create a safe, calm space for you to share your thoughts and feelings free from judgment. Together, we can work towards healing, self-connection and discovery, helping you to find your own authentic self and to move forward with a greater understanding.
Having faced my own difficulties in life, I have gained greater insight and depth, which helps me understand the struggles of others. I am aware of how daunting seeking counselling support can be, and this awareness helps me stay grounded and humble in my work.
Throughout my career, I have always worked with people in 3rd sector organisations supporting with anxiety, depression and work-related issues and for charities such as Cruse Bereavement and currently work as a counsellor in a hospice supporting those who are facing life-limiting conditions or are experiencing a loss or bereavement and adapting to life changes.
Practice description
I provide face-to-face counselling from ‘The Wellspring and Yew’ situated in Burland, a few miles outside Nantwich. It’s a peaceful setting with ample parking, surrounded by green fields and trees. I feel the setting allows a connection to nature that can support therapeutic healing and the body-mind connection.
