Availability
I am currently available for therapy sessions throughout the week. I do have flexibility, so please feel free to enquire about availability, and I will do my best to accommodate your needs. While I primarily offer in-person sessions, online therapy may be considered if appropriate.
About me and my therapy practice
Reaching out for support can feel daunting. I understand how vulnerable that first step can be. Whether you're feeling overwhelmed, stuck, or simply unsure of where to turn, you don’t have to face it alone.
I'm a Íø±¬ÃÅ Registered Integrative Psychotherapist, and my approach to therapy is warm, compassionate, and collaborative. Drawing on Person-Centred Therapy, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), and Attachment Theory, I tailor each session to your unique needs. This integrative approach supports the development of self-compassion, emotional resilience, and deeper self-awareness.
I have over 10 years of experience in the mental health sector, starting out as a volunteer and going on to work as a Mental Health Support Worker and Service Manager across community-based services in Leicester and Derby. I now lead a local mental health charity as the Lead Therapist and Service Manager, where I oversee the day-to-day running of the service, manage a team of trainee therapists, and coordinate therapeutic support for clients with a wide range presenting issues.
People come to therapy for many reasons - perhaps you're navigating grief, anxiety, depression, relationship difficulties, or the effects of past trauma. Or maybe there’s no obvious cause, but you feel disconnected, lost, or like something’s missing. Whatever brings you here, I offer a safe and non-judgmental space where you can explore your thoughts and feelings at your own pace.
So often, we can be our own harshest critics. My work is grounded in helping people build a more compassionate and accepting relationship with themselves, because meaningful change begins with understanding.
Practice description
I offer individual therapy for adults (18+), both short-term and long-term, depending on what feels right for you. We can work together on specific challenges or take a more exploratory approach. Sessions are held in person or online.
Therapy is charged at £60 a session (50 minutes).
Discretionary rates for trainee counsellors are charged at £50 a session.
My first session
I know how important it is to find the right therapist, which is why I offer a free 15-minute phone consultation. This is an opportunity for you to ask any questions, share what’s on your mind, and get a feel for how we might work together. If we both agree you would benefit from counselling with myself, we begin with an initial assessment session (50 minutes at £60) where we explore your concerns, therapy goals, and how I can best support you.
No matter what brings you to therapy, you are welcome here. You deserve a space where you feel heard, valued, and supported. If you're considering starting therapy, I’d love to hear from you. If I am unable to answer your call please feel free to leave a voicemail and I will get back to you as soon as possible.
