Availability

I currently offer online therapy and have availability for new clients and in person.

My hours are flexible, with sessions offered during the day and some early evenings to fit around work, study, and family life. I aim to make therapy accessible and easy to integrate into your week 鈥 without the need to travel or take extra time off.

Although my practice is based in Loughton, Essex, working online means I can support clients across the UK, including those based in London, Manchester, Birmingham, Leeds, Bristol, Brighton, and surrounding areas. Online sessions create space to work in a way that feels calm and contained 鈥 wherever you are.

I find that therapy works best when there鈥檚 a clear rhythm and sense of commitment, so I offer sessions in blocks of six, after an initial first session where we meet and see how it feels to work together. Many clients choose to continue for around twelve weeks, which allows for deeper reflection and change, while keeping flexibility to pause or review.

If you鈥檙e interested in starting therapy, please get in touch. I鈥檒l reply within two working days to arrange a brief chat or confirm your first session time.

I鈥檒l also note any planned breaks or holidays here to help manage expectations, but I currently have availability for new clients and no scheduled time off in the coming weeks.

About me and my therapy practice

Shaz Isaac

www.healingrivertherapy.com

I鈥檓 a therapist who helps people understand what their bodies are holding from past stress or trauma. My work is calm, collaborative, and body-based 鈥 helping you find more safety, connection, and self-trust. I鈥檓 neuro-affirming and neurodivergent myself, and I work integratively with both body (soma) and mind to support deeper understanding, healing, and balance.

I also offer integration support for those processing experiences from plant medicine or other expanded states of consciousness 鈥 helping you ground the insights and emotions that arise into everyday life.

I hold the CPCAB Level 5 Diploma in Somatic-Informed Trauma Therapy, a post-qualifying training that integrates psychodynamic theory, trauma research and somatic psychology. I work with the understanding that trauma affects both the body and mind, helping clients find regulation, safety, and reconnection through grounding and gentle somatic practices.

Alongside this, I am a CPCAB Level 3 Breathwork Coach, which adds a practical dimension to my work with the nervous system. Breathwork supports trauma processing, emotional regulation and reconnection with the body. Together, these trainings form the foundation of my approach 鈥 integrating body-based awareness, compassion and psychological depth to help clients move from survival towards healing, balance and self-leadership.

I am an IFS Level 1 trained therapist (IFS UK), and the model sits at the heart of how I work. IFS helps people understand and relate to the different parts within themselves 鈥 those that protect, carry pain or manage day-to-day life 鈥 with curiosity and compassion. Through this approach, clients begin to build a more trusting and balanced internal system, easing inner conflict and creating space for healing.

It allows us to meet each part of the self with understanding and care, helping clients move toward greater calm, confidence and connection.

Practice description

Therapy with me is about creating a space where you can slow down, feel safe, and begin to make sense of what鈥檚 happening inside. I offer an approach that is compassionate, body-aware and collaborative, drawing on Internal Family Systems (IFS), somatic trauma therapy, and breathwork to support lasting change.

I offer a neurodivergent-affirming space where different ways of thinking, feeling, and experiencing the world are welcomed. As a neurodivergent therapist, I understand the importance of pacing, sensory sensitivity, and communication differences. My practice is neuro-inclusive, recognising that everyone鈥檚 nervous system works differently. Sessions are flexible and responsive to your needs, supporting self-acceptance and confidence, so therapy feels empowering, inclusive, and grounded in who you are.

You don鈥檛 need to know where to start 鈥 we begin with where you are. Together, we explore the parts of you that might feel overwhelmed, protective, or shut down, and help them find safety and understanding. I bring curiosity and care to all the different parts that make you who you are, while helping you reconnect with a steadier, more grounded sense of self.

I believe therapy works best when it feels real and honest. I will always check in with you, and invite feedback about how things feel. Trust, safety, and openness guide the way I work.

I currently offer online sessions for adults across the UK, creating accessible support wherever you are. Sessions are 50 minutes and can be booked in blocks of six, after the first 鈥済etting to know each other鈥 session. This gives time to experience the work while keeping flexibility to pause or continue. Many clients find that around twelve weeks allows for deeper change to take shape.

I鈥檓 aware that therapy is an investment. I keep my pricing transparent and aim to make sessions as accessible as possible, with payment plans available for block bookings.

My first session

Your first session is a gentle introduction to therapy and to how I work. It鈥檚 a chance for us to get to know each other and see if it feels like a comfortable fit. I鈥檒l invite you to share what鈥檚 been happening for you and what you hope for from therapy, but there鈥檚 no pressure to go into everything straight away 鈥 we鈥檒l move at your pace.

Feeling safe and connected is the foundation for this work. If something doesn鈥檛 feel right, I encourage honesty, and I鈥檒l always check in with you throughout our time together. My aim is for you to feel heard, understood, and at ease to explore whatever needs attention.

If you decide to continue, I offer therapy in blocks of six sessions, which gives us a clear focus while allowing flexibility to review, pause, or continue. I find that around twelve weeks often provides enough space for trust to grow and for subtle but meaningful changes to begin.

I know that therapy is a personal and financial commitment, and I aim to make it accessible and transparent. Payments can be made by bank transfer or online payment link, you use debit or credit card, and we can spread costs across the block if needed.

The first session is about seeing whether we connect 鈥 because when therapy feels safe and collaborative, real change can begin.
