About me and my therapy practice
Finding Calm in the Chaos: How Integrative Counselling Can Help You Feel Heard
Life can feel overwhelming. Whether you're navigating grief, anxiety, relationship difficulties, or simply trying to make sense of your emotions, it鈥檚 easy to feel lost in the noise. If you鈥檙e searching for counselling in Colchester or looking for a gentle-paced, non-judgemental space, you鈥檙e not alone鈥攁nd you鈥檙e not broken.
As an Integrative Counsellor, I offer a space where you can slow down, listen to yourself, and feel truly heard. My approach blends Person-Centered therapy, Psychodynamic counselling, and CBT, allowing us to work together in a way that suits your unique needs.
Integrative counselling is a flexible, holistic approach that draws from multiple therapeutic models. It allows us to explore your thoughts, feelings, and behaviours through different lenses.
Rather than trying to 鈥渇ix鈥 you, I work collaboratively with you to understand what鈥檚 going on beneath the surface. I believe that healing begins when we feel safe enough to explore our inner world with curiosity and compassion.
People come to therapy for many reasons. Some are facing a recent loss or struggling with depression. Others may be dealing with low self-esteem, trauma, or navigating life as a neurodiverse individual. Whatever brings you here, I offer a space where your experiences are valid and your voice matters.
Local Support in Colchester
If you're searching for private counselling in Colchester or mental health support in Essex, I鈥檓 here to help. I also offer online therapy sessions, making it easier to access support wherever you are.
My journey into counselling began with a sudden family bereavement鈥攁 moment that sparked a deep desire to understand myself and others. Since qualifying, I鈥檝e worked with charities, facilitated bereavement support groups, and supported individuals at the end of life. I continue to deepen my practice through ongoing training and study.
If you鈥檙e feeling ready to talk, I鈥檓 here to listen.
