About me and my therapy practice

I am an Integrative counsellor who offers counselling to adults aged 18 and over.

I value the uniqueness of each person, their experiences, and their needs, and being an integrative counsellor, my approach is tailored to best suit your needs. 

I have experience providing counselling for a range of issues, including but not limited to anxiety, health anxiety, long term illness, depression, stress, low self-esteem, and confidence, grief and loss, relationship issues/concerns, and working with parents of children who are awaiting referral/diagnosis/living with additional needs. 

I can provide face to face, telephone and online counselling. 

Practice description

My practice is grounded in person-centered counselling and the development of a safe and trusting therapeutic relationship where you feel seen, heard, and validated. 

I am to do this by offering an empathetic, genuine space where you feel comfortable and safe discussing what has been going on for you. I understand that the experience of counselling is unique to each individual, and so we take it at a pace that feels right to you. 

I also integrate the use of Cognitive behavioral therapy to help clients identify the links between thoughts, behaviors, and feelings. As well as developing tools and techniques to help regulate the nervous system and challenge unhelpful thoughts or beliefs. 


My first session

If you are interested in working together, I offer a free 15-minute introduction call. This provides an opportunity to briefly what has been going on for you, ask any questions you have, discuss how we may work together, and see if it feels like a good fit.

 This call can also help dispel some of the uncertainty that can accompany reaching out and put a voice to the name. 

Following our intro call, our first session will consist of an assessment session.  

This can feel a bit more structured than our following sessions. Here we will discuss you... This will include relevant health and background experiences, family dynamics, and relationships. 

 We will discuss strengths and goals for counselling going forward.
