About me and my therapy practice
Hello, my name is Sarah.
Thank you for taking time to visit my profile.
I am a person -centred counsellor, qualified to work with Children, teenagers and adults.
Coming to your first session may seem like a hurdle, but it’s the first step in your personal growth.
I believe the relationship is key to this which is why I offer a complementary phone session before agreeing to work together.
Being unseen and unheard can be isolating and I am here to help you as you explore whilst giving you empathy, and a genuineness in my practise.
I believe everyone has the ability to lead a balanced life. Whether facing changes in your everyday, feeling at a crossroads, or just wanting to understand yourself then I can support you with these challenges.
I allow you time and space to explore your feelings thoughts and emotions and together we can help you understand yourself.
I have experience in working with clients with a variety of issues, from a change in situation or circumstance, anxiety, loss, identity or just wanting space to discover yourself.
I am experienced in supporting clients experiencing menopause and domestic abuse.
I am experienced in working with children and young people and can offer counselling from ages 10 upwards.
Practice description
I work as a Therapist in a person centred way.
This means I accept you ,the client as the expert on yourself. You have control of what you want to share and work on each session.
This approach is a talking therapy, but I will also include creative work if this helps when words aren't enough. I don't give you "homework"!
I offer you a space to explore your thoughts feelings and experiences in a non judgemental space at your pace.
We regularly review your progress and explore areas that you want to focus on.
I offer both face to face and online sessions.
The face to face sessions are held in Swindon's Old Town.
If this is something you feel would be helpful, please contact me at:

My first session
I offer an initial phone session, to get to know about you, your needs and to make sure we both feel safe working together.
It involves a simple assessment about your personal wellbeing and any relevant medical or mental health concerns.
This gives us space to understand what you would like from counselling and ask any questions you may have.
All information is confidential.
