About me and my therapy practice

Where compassion meets expertise: therapy tailored to you.

I believe therapy is a space where you can simply be, without fear of judgment. With a background in teaching, a deep understanding of neurodivergence, and training in both creative and evidence-based therapies, I help clients of all ages make sense of their emotions, heal from life’s adversities, and reconnect with their own inner resources. My approach is gentle and empathetic, rooted in genuine care and professionalism, creating a safe and supportive space for healing and growth.

Originally from France, I’ve made the UK my home for more than half of my life. As a mum to two autistic and ADHD young men, I bring not only professional expertise but also lived experience and understanding of neurodivergence and the challenges families may face.

I am qualified in working with both children and adults. Before becoming a therapist, I spent over 14 years working as a French teacher in primary schools. Since retraining, I have worked with respected counselling organisations such as Place2Be, Phoenix Health & Wellbeing, Head Agenda, Mable Therapy, and now FindingTherapy.

Practice description

I offer a safe, non-judgemental space for children (mainly from ages 6 to 13, but also teenagers depending on their needs) and for adults, where together we can explore challenges, find empowerment, and nurture wellbeing. For adults, my online sessions last 50 minutes for £50.00. I work gently and respectfully, drawing from different therapeutic models while grounding my approach in humanistic and person-centred principles. With children, sessions are 45 minutes for £65.00 and take place on a secure platform that provides access to creative resources and psycho-educational tools. I also use puppets, plushes, Lego and figures and always welcome children's toys in the sessions. Because play is the natural language of children, I pay close attention to what they express, both in words and through their play, so we can gently explore and process what has been troubling them, always at their pace.

I understand that therapy is not always a straightforward process; it can feel like a big step at the start and be bumpy at times. But I see myself as a trusted companion on that journey, someone who walks alongside you or your child with empathy, patience, and commitment, helping you move toward understanding, self-acceptance, and lasting wellbeing.

My first session

The first session is a gentle starting point, a space for us to meet and see whether working together feels right for you. I will take time to explain how I work and what I can offer in therapy, while also listening to what has brought you here and what you hope to find in our sessions. Together, we can begin to think about your needs, your hopes, and the direction you would like our work to take.

I believe the relationship between therapist and client is at the very heart of therapy. That’s why this first meeting is not only about practicalities, but also about sensing whether you feel comfortable, understood, and supported. My hope is that you come away from the session with a sense of whether we can build a trusting, collaborative relationship to support your goals
