About me and my therapy practice

Hi and welcome. I’m Tetiana, an experienced Integrative Counsellor specialising in working with Compulsive Sexual Behaviours / Sex Addiction. I work with individuals who feel overwhelmed, ashamed, or stuck in repetitive sexual behaviours that may be affecting their relationships, self-esteem, work and life in general.

Why Sex Addiction? What brought me to this field?

While working with a few clients, I became aware that they used compulsive sexual behaviours as a coping strategy to manage stress, anxiety, anger, shame and other challenging emotions, inability to build and maintain relationships, which evoked my curiosity and desire to understand the nature of this phenomenon and how to work with it in the therapeutic space.

One might argue whether it is addiction and how it can be treated. I conduct an in-depth assessment that can help to answer those questions and provide a thorough understanding of what’s beneath the surface and whether it causes any detrimental effects to one’s life.

I understand how isolating and confusing it can feel to struggle with it, you are not alone — and you are not broken. Together, we can explore what is going on for you, work through shame, and gently reconnect you with a sense of agency, clarity, and self-worth.

Whether you’re seeking help with sex addiction, intimacy issues, relationship struggles, or early life trauma that may be influencing your current behaviour, we will work collaboratively to help you move forward.

Areas I Can Help With

· Sex and pornography addiction

· Compulsive sexual behaviour

· Affairs and infidelity

· Relationship and intimacy difficulties

· Shame, guilt, and self-criticism

· Early attachment wounds

· Trauma and emotional regulation

· Self-worth and self-esteem

These days I have my own private practice, and I provide counselling services to charity sector and to client's referred via employee's assistance programmes (EAP) alongside of it.

Practice description

My Approach

My therapeutic approach integrates theories and principles of Person-Centred Therapy (PCT), Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), and Transactional Analysis, psychodynamic therapy, and mindfulness practices to address the root causes of sex addiction. I also use tools from Gestalt approach and Therapeutic Coaching whenever necessary. I offer tailored, empathetic interventions that empower clients and help them to meet their unique needs.

Together, we work to identify unhealthy patterns, develop healthier coping strategies, and foster self-awareness, allowing clients to regain control over their lives and relationships. With a compassionate, non-judgmental approach, I guide clients through a holistic process of healing that focuses on both emotional well-being and behavioural change.

I provide a safe, confidential space where clients can explore difficult feelings and experiences, and I am committed to supporting them throughout their journey toward recovery and personal growth to create lasting change.

As a member of Íø±¬ÃÅ, I am trained in and have experience in working with a diverse group of clients (11-89) presented with ADHD, autism, depression and anxiety, suicidal ideation, self-harm, childhood trauma and PTSD, bereavement and loss, low self-esteem, historic abuse, relationship issues, challenges of immigration, work-related issues, body image, shame, boundaries, attachment, BPD, etc. I have done this over a few years being in my private practice, working in a charity sector, providing short-term solution-focused counselling services to client's referred via employee's assistance programmes (EAP) and as a school counsellor.

My standard fees are £55 per session, I can provide concession fees and we can make arrangements depending on your financial circumstances.
