About me and my therapy practice
Offering flexible, tailored therapy to individuals and couples wanting to step out of unhelpful cycles, and into intentional, empowered living. I use a holistic evidenced-based framework for PTSD, Complex-PTSD, and traumatic experiences, providing interventions focusing on emotion regulation, managing disordered mood, and processing trauma. I also offer solution-focused couples therapy for those wanting to de-escalate conflict in a healthy way, communicate effectively where both are heard and understood, and improve connection and intimacy.
If your life has been shaped by past trauma, adverse childhood experiences (ACEs), or anxiety, my practice is built on helping you process those experiences and develop the robust inner resources you need for lasting emotional regulation and peace. When processing traumatic or difficult experiences, I integrate advanced modalities based on your individual needs, including CPT, PE, IRRT, NET, and STAIR, along with specialised emotion regulation and stabilisation techniques. This approach empowers you to process past events (emotionally, cognitively, and somatically), and build healthy coping skills, allowing you to move forward with intention.
I work with couples focusing on resolving relational clashes caused by underlying issues. I have experience with partners where adverse childhood experiences (ACEs), neurodivergence, or significant differences in communication styles are creating conflict. The framework I use in couples work is designed for efficient, effective change, drawing on a Solution-Focused approach that integrates the core emotional needs from the Human Givens framework with the research-backed communication techniques of the Gottman Method. We work together to replace destructive patterns with practical skills for healthy communication and effective conflict resolution, paving the way for deeper unity and lasting reconnection.
