About me and my therapy practice

网爆门

Many people reach a stage in life where, despite outer success, something inside feels misaligned — a quiet restlessness, loss of purpose, or sense that life has become all doing and little being. The modern pace of constant connectivity and responsibility can leave even the most capable professionals feeling burnt out, anxious, or detached from what truly matters.

Therapy offers a space to pause, reflect, and reconnect with yourself — not just to manage stress, but to rediscover meaning, vitality and direction. It can help you process emotions you’ve long held at bay, make sense of inner conflicts, and move from simply coping to living more fully and authentically.

I am a qualified counsellor trained in Psychosynthesis – sometimes called “the psychology of hope” – an approach that recognises both our struggles and our deeper potential. Whether you’re facing a crossroads, questioning your life direction, or seeking greater balance and purpose, I offer a space to help you find clarity and integration.

Before training as a therapist, I held senior roles in financial services and start-ups, and founded a charity empowering young women in East Africa. Having lived and worked in India, Singapore, Hong Kong, Uganda and the UK, I bring an open and culturally attuned perspective to my work. My academic and personal interests also include Buddhist psychology and my recently completed thesis on "How Psychosynthesis can provide a psycho-spiritual context & framework for challenging psychedelic experiences". Please note, I do not accept enquiries for psychedelic assisted therapy or psychedelic integration therapy.’

Practice description

I work analytically to help you step behind your thoughts and gain new insights into your inner world. At the same time, I provide a safe and non-judgmental space for you to process your emotions. As we gain new insights on why you do the things you do and learn to sit with difficult emotions 鈥 they gradually stop having such a strong hold. We also work together to 鈥渃onnect the dots鈥 to clearly see the bigger picture and themes emerging in your life 鈥 giving you direction on where you want to go to next - through inspired action. By growing in self-awareness, learning to pause before reacting and making different choices 鈥 you鈥檒l start to feel more inner freedom. It鈥檚 these small consistent changes which compound into huge shifts over time and create meaningful changes in your life.

As well as talk therapy, we explore other more creative and practical ways of working such as visualisations, role play, meditation, dream work鈥 which can really help to draw out what鈥檚 going on beneath the surface of the mind, in the unconscious. Through this way of working, we鈥檙e able to work at depth and honour all aspects of you as a human being 鈥 on the level of intellect, feelings and soul.

My first session

I offer an initial free phone consultation to see if I would be able to help, answer any preliminary questions you might have and for us to get a sense of what it might be like to work together. If we decide to proceed, we will establish a counselling contract to ensure transparency, confidentiality and appropriate boundaries.

The first official session is used to explore your family history, hopes for therapy and what life might look like if what brings you to therapy is resolved. Each session usually lasts 50 minutes although the first one might be a bit longer depending on how much there is to cover.
