About me and my therapy practice
Counsellor to Individuals and Couples - In person and online
I provide a safe, non-judgmental and confidential space where feelings such as depression, anger, stress and anxiety can be explored and resolved. I specialise in working with stress, anxiety trauma, depression, grief, eating disorders, burnout as well as couples/marriage counselling. I am qualified to see both teens and adults.
I have studied extensively at University level and hold a level 7 post Graduate diploma in Counselling, Masters degree in Psychology, PGCE, Honours degree in Organisational Psychology, Bachelors Degree in Psychology as well as various other diplomas and certificates to gain specialised knowledge and tools in mental health.
I am a trauma informed integrative counsellor and use various models and therapeutic methods depending on the presenting issues. I tailor my treatment plan to each individual and understand that different approaches and methods will be tailored to each individual depending on their presenting issues.
Practice description
I work both online and face to face. My offices are based in a beautiful rural location just outside Worcester City. The Space provides a discreet and tranquil setting.
Being an Integrative Therapist I use tools such as CBT, EFT, BWRT, Mindfulness, DBT as well as solution focused approaches. I have trained extensively in these tools/approaches.
My first session
My first session will usually consist of a detailed assessment. This will allow me to create an effective treatment plan based on each clients history and presenting problems.
