About me and my therapy practice
Do you feel like you鈥檙e just one meltdown away from losing it, but you don鈥檛 want to be that mum? Maybe you鈥檝e tried to hold it together with 鈥渏ust breathe鈥 advice or gentle parenting scripts, but they fall flat when you feel the rage rising. Tired of feeling on edge, snappy with your kids, full of guilt after, or of scrolling through social media wondering why everyone else seems to have it all together?
If you're tired of trying to hold it all together and you鈥檙e craving real relief, not just another parenting hack, you鈥檙e in the right place.
I help mums stop the cycle of snapping, exploding, and spiralling in guilt and instead parent with calm, confidence, and connection so they trust in themselves and like the mum they've become.
Together we'll explore patterns and core beliefs that may be keeping you stuck, help you manage big emotions (yours and theirs!), develop strategies to soothe your body's stress response, and unpack the unspoken weight of motherhood. All whilst honouring that you鈥檙e the expert on you.
And most importantly, we鈥檒l work towards what you really long for:
鉁╓hat would it be like to trust yourself as a mum, even on the hard days?
鉁═o end the day feeling proud, not guilty.
鉁═o have more energy for yourself, not just for everyone else.
鉁═o feel like 鈥榶ou鈥 again, not like you鈥檝e been lost in motherhood.
鉁═o swap constant edge-of-explosion tension for space to breathe, laugh, and connect.
鉁═o know your anger isn鈥檛 a sign you鈥檙e broken, but a guide to what needs to change.
I understand how isolating it can feel when you鈥檙e overwhelmed as a mum. It鈥檚 a strength to ask for help, and you don鈥檛 have to manage this alone. Book your complimentary initial call through my website or email me if you'd like to book straight in for a first session.
I look forward to hearing from you so we can work together on finding the more balanced mum life you deserve.
Practice description
I'm an integrative therapist which means I use a number of different therapy types. This gives me the flexibility to tailor our sessions to you. I've worked with many mums and no two people's experience is ever the same so I feel it's important that therapy reflects that.
The therapy types I draw on include person centred, compassion focused therapy, parts work and nervous system work. I have experience of working with trauma (of various shapes and sizes) and prioritise you feeling safe in anything we discuss.
I also bring in systemic awareness to our work because being a mum is hugely influenced by the expectations of society, the systems that often let us down and the messages that keep us stuck in patterns that can feel frustrating or confusing.
My first session
To start our journey together I offer a free initial phone call which lasts roughly 20 minutes. This can be booked online in the link above.
Our initial call is space where we can briefly explore what you're experiencing at the moment, you can learn a bit more about what it's like to talk to me and it gives you a chance to ask any questions you might have. There's no obligation, the most important thing is for you to get the right therapist for you.
Starting therapy together, we meet weekly as it's important to build our relationship and trust for therapy to work. However you are always in control and there is no set number of sessions.
There's no assessment, questionnaires or interviews to get started, simply connection with a therapist who is also a mum who has been where you are.
