About me and my therapy practice
Are you struggling with grief, loss, or a deep sense that something is missing? Whether you're mourning the death of a loved one, facing the end of a relationship, or navigating a life transition that’s left you feeling lost - you're not alone. Grief isn't just about death. It can show up as sadness, anxiety, anger, numbness, or even guilt. It can affect your sleep, relationships, and sense of purpose. And sometimes, it can feel like the world has moved on while you’re stuck in a place you didn’t choose to be.
I'm Zara and I’m a therapist based in Manchester, working both face-to-face and online with adults and young people. I specialise in supporting people through bereavement and all forms of loss — including the loss of identity, direction, or the life you thought you'd have.
In therapy with me, you won’t be given a list of things to fix or change. Instead, you’ll find a space where you can slow down, be heard, and begin to make sense of what you're feeling, at your own pace. We’ll explore who you are now, how loss has shaped you, and what it means to move forward when the future feels uncertain.
Clients often tell me they feel lighter after sessions - more grounded, more themselves. Together, we can gently uncover your inner resources and rebuild a sense of meaning, even in the midst of heartache.
If this resonates with you, I invite you to get in touch for a free 15 minute consult call. It’s a chance for us to connect and see whether working together feels right for you.
