About me and my therapy practice
How have you been feeling recently? Low, depressed, lonely? Many of us feel this way but have difficulty expressing ourselves or finding the people in our lives willing to listen. This is where talking therapies such as counselling and psychotherapy could help you. I work with a wide range of experience including childhood trauma, depression, family conflicts, low mood, anxiety, identity issues, grief, loss, cultural conflict, loneliness, sexuality, stress, neurodiversity, ASD, ADHD/ADD, narcissistic abuse, PTSD, race, self-harm, anger, relationship problems, self-esteem issues and confidence.
I'm a person-centred psychotherapist and humanistic counsellor providing empathy, open-mindedness, and authenticity to our therapeutic relationship. I work to create a space for you to share all dilemmas without judgment and identify your options to encourage your feelings of hope. I utilise techniques from different modalities such as CBT, grounding techniques, meditation and breath work but only use the most appropriate methods which you feel comfortable with.
I provide a kind, patient listening ear, support you in untangling your internal conflicts on your self-discovery journey of resilience, happiness, and wellbeing. Person-centred counselling offers you a space to unload your stress, worries, and model a healthy trusting relationship cultivating positive change, healing and transformation.
