About me and my therapy practice
Therapeutic Counselling with a Relational Focus
Attachment-Based Trauma-Informed Therapy | £65.00 per session
Welcome – I’m glad you’re here
If you’re feeling anxious, low, lost in grief, or burdened by painful past experiences, I offer a warm, compassionate, and non-judgemental space where you can begin to make sense of it all. Whether you’re struggling with childhood trauma, relationship difficulties, feeling overwhelmed or stuck, I will work with you to understand what’s going on beneath the surface — and how we can help bring about meaningful change.
My Approach
Therapy with me is collaborative, empathic, and attuned to your needs. I’ll meet you where you are, helping you explore the parts of your story that may feel emotionally tender or complex. Together, we will:
- Develop a clearer understanding of your emotional world
- Explore how past relationships and early experiences shape your present
- Look at how your needs are met — both by yourself and others
- Work sensitively with trauma, loss, or painful emotions such as sadness, fear, anger, or hurt
- Build emotional regulation and self-compassion
- Strengthen your sense of self-worth, boundaries, and relationship patterns
- Create a coherent and empowering narrative of your life experiences
As an attachment-based therapist, I focus on the healing potential of the therapeutic relationship itself. I’ll provide a secure base from which you can explore and grow, offering the right balance of support and challenge.
Practice description
What to Expect
In our sessions, you can expect a safe and reflective space where we explore both your present challenges and the deeper roots beneath them. I often incorporate:
- Exploration of your relationship dynamics and communication patterns
- Mentalisation (developing self-reflection and emotional insight)
- Self-esteem and resilience building
- Inner-child and/or parts work
- Tools and knowledge from psychotherapeutic theory, if you’d find this helpful
About Me
I came into this work with a natural pull toward understanding and supporting others. Becoming a therapist felt like a calling — one I feel privileged to walk every day.
With five years of experience, I’ve supported people from all walks of life through a wide range of emotional challenges. I work from a non-pathologising perspective — meaning I don’t reduce you to a label or diagnosis. I see and welcome the whole of you.
I continue to develop professionally through regular CPD training and stay engaged with the evolving field of psychotherapy. I wholeheartedly believe in the power of growth, process, and lifelong self-discovery.
