My approach is rooted in the latest research, emphasizing compassion, empowerment, and respect for each person's unique journey. Together, we will cultivate resilience and well-being.
I hold a Bachelor of Science degree in Integrative Psychotherapy and proudly identify as Neurodivergent. With 25 years of experience, spanning the professional and academic realms, I offer a deep understanding of life's complexities. I look forward to supporting you on your path toward personal growth and empowerment.
Practice description
In my practice, I value the importance of finding the right therapist. Making this decision can be overwhelming, which is why I prioritise creating a non-judgmental environment where individuals can feel comfortable sharing their concerns.
Informed by various therapeutic approaches, including humanistic, cognitive-behavioural, psychodynamic, and existential therapies, my integrative counseling style considers the whole person addressing their mental, emotional, and spiritual well-being. I believe in empowering clients to lead the direction of therapy, providing the freedom to explore thoughts, feelings, and behaviours at their own pace. The therapeutic relationship is fundamentally person-centered and is built on trust, respect, and understanding.

About me and my therapy practice
Starting therapy can feel daunting, especially if you’re carrying pain that’s been misunderstood or dismissed in the past. In our work together, I offer a calm, compassionate space where you can feel heard, seen, and respected, just as you are. You won’t be rushed or judged here. Instead, we’ll move at your pace, gently exploring what’s troubling you and working together to make sense of it.
I take a trauma-informed and person-centred approach, which means I’ll always prioritise your safety, autonomy, and choice. Whether you’re navigating anxiety, depression, addiction, grief, neurodivergence, or past trauma, I’ll meet you with warmth and respect. You’re the expert on your experience, and I’m here to support you in discovering the insights, strengths, and resilience that already live within you.
Clients often tell me they feel a sense of relief after sessions, like they’re no longer carrying everything alone. Over time, therapy can help you develop a deeper self-understanding, reconnect with your sense of agency, and feel more grounded in your identity.
I work with adults of all ages, including people who identify as neurodivergent or are in active addiction or recovery. Sessions are tailored to your needs; some people come for a short period, while others choose longer-term work.
If you’re looking for a therapist who will walk alongside you with care and curiosity, I’d be honoured to support you.
Practice description
Coming to therapy is a brave step, and it’s important you feel safe, understood, and supported throughout the process. In my practice, you’ll find a calm, non-judgmental space where you can bring whatever you’re facing, whether it’s confusion, pain, anxiety, shame, or just the sense that something isn’t quite right.
You won’t be told what to do or rushed into change. Instead, we’ll go at your pace. I’ll listen closely and respond with compassion and honesty, helping you make sense of what’s going on beneath the surface. You’ll be free to explore thoughts, feelings, and patterns in a way that feels manageable and respectful of your boundaries.
Clients often say they feel more grounded, more self-aware, and more able to trust themselves after our work together. That’s because our sessions aren’t just about talking, they’re about reconnecting with who you are and making space for the parts of you that may have been ignored or silenced.
I draw from a range of therapeutic approaches, but what matters most is how you experience therapy. This is your space, and my role is to walk alongside you, gently, openly, and with care.
Whether you’re new to therapy or returning to it, I’m here to support you in a way that feels human, collaborative, and real.
My first session
I understand that starting therapy can feel like a big, uncertain step. That’s why I often suggest beginning with two or three sessions. This gives you the space to get a real feel for how I work and whether it’s the right fit for you, without any pressure to commit long-term.
Our first session is a chance for you to share what’s been going on for you, in as much or as little detail as you’re comfortable with. You might have a clear idea of what you want to explore, or just a sense that something isn’t sitting right, that’s completely okay. I’ll listen carefully, ask a few gentle questions to understand your needs, and explain how I work.
There’s no formal assessment or paperwork unless that’s something you find helpful. My priority is to offer a calm, non-judgmental space where you can feel safe, seen, and supported.
You’re welcome to ask questions, raise any concerns, or simply get a sense of whether working together feels right. After two or three sessions, we can check in and decide together whether to continue.
I offer first sessions at my usual rate, and there’s no obligation to continue if it doesn’t feel like a good match.
