About me and my therapy practice

If life has felt heavy lately—whether you are overwhelmed, disconnected, or just tired of holding it all together—you are not alone. I offer a space where you can exhale, speak freely, and feel met with care rather than judgment.

We will work together to understand what is going on beneath the surface—not just your thoughts and emotions, but also how your relationships, upbringing, or the world around you might be affecting how you feel today. This is not a one-size-fits-all approach; we go at your pace, following what matters most to you.

I warmly welcome people from all walks of life, including those who are neurodivergent, chronically ill or disabled, LGBTQIA+, part of kink or sex work communities, racialised, or navigating life as a foreign national. Whoever you are, whatever you are carrying—I am here to listen and support you in finding steadier ground.

Practice description

In our sessions, I aim to create something steady and real—where you feel met, not managed. You will not be expected to perform a version of yourself or explain things that should already be understood. I bring a clear, grounded approach to help us notice what is going on beneath the surface and make sense of patterns that may have once protected you but now feel limiting. My focus is on what feels useful and doable in your life, not just in theory. Whether we sit with something painful or look for small steps forward, the work is always shaped by your needs and what feels possible in the moment.

For those carrying the impact of trauma—whether from sexual abuse, neglect, betrayal, accidents, infidelity, grief/loss, or else—I also offer EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing). This gentle, evidence-based approach helps the brain reprocess distressing memories so they feel less triggering and more manageable. You remain in control throughout, and we always go at a pace that feels safe for you.

My first session

Our first session is simply a space to talk and get to know each other. There is no pressure to have everything figured out—we start with what feels most important to you. Whether you come in with something specific or just a sense that something needs to shift, we will begin by making room for your story, your pace, and your voice.

If you feel ready to take that first step, you can reach me at Beyondlabelstherapy.com or by email at info@beyondlabelstherapy.com. I would be glad to hear from you and walk alongside you in this next part of your journey.

My first session

The first session is a gentle starting point. We will talk about what brings you here, what you are hoping for, and any worries or questions you may have. There is no need to tell your whole story all at once — we will take time, and you set the pace.

You can also use this space to get a feel for how I work and whether we click — finding the right therapist matters. If it feels like a good fit, we will arrange regular weekly sessions going forward.

Sessions last 50 minutes, held in person (London Bridge), online, or as a hybrid.

Access needs? Particular concerns? You are warmly encouraged to let me know — this is your space, and you are welcome as you are.
