I am available on Mondays for in-person sessions in Crouch End, North London.
On some other days of the week, I offer online support via Zoom video calling.
About me and my therapy practice
Are you feeling overwhelmed by life-changing events like a loss, relationship breakdown, pressure in work, hormone changes, your children leaving your home?
Do you feel an emptiness, missing a sense of purpose or sense of belonging?
Have you always felt you were never 'seen' nor heard?
Counselling may be helpful to find some clarity. Talking to someone and working together to make sense what is going on for you can help you make changes in the way that you behave, feel, and think about yourself and the way you connect with other people.
I have my own personal experiences as an immigrant, so I am sensitive to the unique challenges and experiences that may result from differences in cultural background, identity, or age.
My own path of self-discovery through therapy has motivated me to retrain, from teaching to become a counsellor. I am still active in education and train others to become counsellors, coaches, and psychotherapists.
As a counsellor, I have supported young people in a secondary school and a college in London. I have also worked with highly traumatised vulnerable women for the Charity Street Talk.
In my private practice, I work mainly with individual adults.
I have a Degree in Psychology gained in The Netherlands.
In the UK, I acquired a Diploma Level 5 in Therapeutic Counselling, Holistic Life Coaching Certificate, and Hypnotherapy Certificate.
I also trained in the UK as a Qigong (Chinese Martial Arts) Coach and as an EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing) Therapist.
I use Qigong Mindfulness, Qigong breathing and Qigong movements to help people manage anxiety, stress, and mood changes.
EMDR techniques are useful to help process traumatic experiences.
Traumatic experiences can lead to feeling stuck in your body. Both Qigong and EMDR techniques help you to get 'unstuck'.

Sessions lasts for 50 minutes.
We decide in the assessment session what you need and what I can offer.
My first session
The assessment can take up to two sessions and helps me to get an understanding of what you seek and need from counselling and to determine if and how it fits in with what I offer.
