About me and my therapy practice
Cognitive Behavioural Therapist with a background in social care, education and the employment sector.
Additional training has been completed in motivational interviewing and schema therapy.
Extensive experiencing working with clients aged 13 and over both remotely, face to face and within a group setting.
I now work mainly remotely, and although I have experience in a variety of presenting issues, I specialise in attachment work, relationships, low self esteem, Depression and Anxiety disorders in particular phobias.
I have quite a down to earth and relaxed way of working and my first priority will always be to try and make my client as comfortable as possible in the therapy journey, explaining what they can expect from me within that session and the sessions pending.
I will aim to adapt the work we do to suit different learning styles, and will always listen to feedback provided to ensure the therapy journey is as beneficial for my clients as it can be.
My first session
Session 1 will always be your assessment session and gives us a chance to discuss your reasons for seeking therapy- for you to see whether I am the right fit for you and how we might proceed. There is never any obligation to sign up for a set amount of sessions we take it step by step.
