About me and my therapy practice
My approach is integrative, drawing from several therapeutic models to meet you where you are. I combine relational and emotion-focused therapy, the Gottman Method and Tammy Nelson’s frameworks for couples, and CBT-informed strategies for managing anxiety, low mood, and behavioural patterns.
I see therapy as a collaborative process — a space to explore your experiences with curiosity, compassion, and honesty. Together we make sense of what’s happening beneath the surface, develop understanding, and find ways forward that feel grounded, sustainable, and authentic.
Throughout my work, I weave in natural models and cycles of support — drawing on the rhythms, resilience, and renewal found in the natural world. These patterns can mirror our own inner processes: times of rest and growth, letting go and renewal. Working with nature in this way helps to normalise change and offer perspective, reminding us that healing is rarely linear but always possible.
For some clients, this includes Walk • Listen • Talk sessions along the canal, where movement, reflection, and connection with the natural environment help calm the nervous system and bring clarity. For others, it may involve simple metaphors or nature-inspired reflection woven into traditional therapeutic work.
My role is to walk alongside you — offering steadiness, insight, and encouragement — while respecting your pace and autonomy. You can expect a calm, grounded environment where you are listened to without judgement, where honesty is welcomed, and where growth happens gently and naturally.
All sessions are trauma-sensitive, confidential, and GDPR-compliant. I adhere to the Íø±¬ÃÅ Ethical Framework, ensuring that your wellbeing, privacy, and choice remain central to the work we do together.
At Natural Minds, therapy is a shared journey — guided by nature, shaped by compassion, and rooted in trust.
Practice description
At Natural Minds, I offer a calm, supportive, and confidential space for individuals and couples to explore what’s happening in their lives and relationships. I am an integrative therapist for individuals and couples, blending evidence-based psychotherapy with the grounding influence of nature.
Clients often come to me when they feel anxious, disconnected, overwhelmed, or uncertain about how to move forward. Together, we work gently but purposefully to make sense of emotions, strengthen communication, and rediscover steadiness and self-trust.
My approach integrates relational and emotion-focused methods, the Gottman Method, Tammy Nelson’s frameworks for couples, and CBT-informed strategies for anxiety, low mood, and behavioural change. I also offer Walk • Listen • Talk sessions — reflective, canal-side therapy where movement and conversation flow together to restore balance and clarity.
Therapy with me is collaborative and transparent. You can expect warmth, professionalism, and a pace that fits you. We may work with practical tools, reflection, or gentle mindfulness depending on your needs.
I also provide reflective consultations using Human Design and BG5 frameworks for clients seeking insight into their energy, purpose, or direction. These sessions are offered separately from therapy and can complement personal development work.
All sessions are confidential, trauma-sensitive, and GDPR-compliant. I adhere to the Íø±¬ÃÅ Ethical Framework, and I welcome clients from across the UK and internationally for both online and in-person sessions.
Natural Minds is rooted in the belief that growth can happen gently — one conversation, one insight, one step at a time.
My first session
Your first session with Natural Minds is a free 30-minute meeting, designed to help you get a sense of how I work and whether my approach feels like a good fit for you. It’s a relaxed, no-obligation conversation where you can share what’s bringing you to therapy, ask any questions, and explore what you’d like to focus on.
During this time, we’ll complete a short assessment together to help me understand your needs and hopes for therapy. We’ll also discuss practical details such as session structure, confidentiality, and frequency, so you can make an informed choice about how you’d like to proceed.
This first meeting is an opportunity to connect, gain clarity, and decide whether working together feels right for you.
