I work with individuals and couples online in London and across the UK. I offer sessions for 50 minutes at £60 per session.
I practise most days and some evenings depending on availability and this is something we can plan on first meeting to make a mutually suitable arrangement. I also have some availability on weekends.
About me and my therapy practice
My work is dedicated to supporting individuals and couples in navigating key life transitions such as a birth, infertility, adoption, difficult relationships, divorce, job challenges, or promotions, loss, illness, retirement or empty nest syndrome. I have personal experience of loss, infertility and adoption, and have worked with boarding school survivors.
I work on co-creating a trusting and dynamic relationship by listening, understanding and empathising with your experiences. The journey is an exploration of how your past life is affecting you and your current relationships, and how we can best work in partnership to affect the outcomes you want, when you are dealing with difficult personal circumstances, challenging relationships or complicated family dynamics.
Everyday events can bring exhaustion, despair or anxiety, as well as a lack of confidence and disorientation in how to be in the world.
You may be suffering from depression or lacking in energy. You might have pressing needs parenting, or with job issues. Difficult relationships or experiencing a lack of intimacy can be challenging.
It might be that you are coming to terms with an illness, or in the process of dealing with treatment and recovery. You may be facing career choices or life challenges or wondering about retirement
These are just some of issues we all experience at different life stages and each of us has a unique story, journey and history. I believe we all want to create and maintain fulfilling and loving relationships with others and for ourselves. I am committed to working with you to navigate your path, highlighting any patterns that may be blocking your way, or help shine a light forwards, or find insight.
You might be at the start of the journey, or struggling with how to cope over a long period.
Seeking therapy can often be the first step towards healing and has the potential to offer you new insights and resources.
Practice description
I make sure I give priority to talking and listening so we can make sense of and process feelings and thoughts around your life experiences and understanding.
I am a Psychosynthesis Counsellor, and work with imagination, and story to help you re-connect with your intuition, creativity and inner sense of being so you focus on gently awakening new insights and perspectives.
I also have thirty year’s experience of working in the personal development arena in both the corporate and charity sector as a coach and facilitator in leadership, personal impact, presentation and the art of self-confidence, so understand the pressures that can beset us in the workplace or in career challenges we face, or when we experience self-doubt.
My first session
The first session will involve me asking questions to explore your reasons for wanting therapy, finding out more about you and taking your history. You can decide whether you want to work with me as your therapist, ask me any questions about my approach or discuss any concerns you may have.
