About me and my therapy practice

I am a certified counsellor offering;

Person centred therapy

CBT (cognitive behavioural therapy)

TFCBT (trauma focussed CBT)

Rewind Therapy.

My background also includes both training and experience in the areas of mental health and bereavement.

Looking to face feelings of vulnerability can feel daunting, and throughout this, I'm here to support you whilst we work closely together to understand those feelings. There are times where talking therapy may feel suitable, or a task based approach may feel more appropriate. Perhaps a mixture of both may be most beneficial; this is something that we can talk about, and discuss a plan of how we will move forward together based on your wants and needs.

My previous experience includes working with clients at the Swan Centre, and Ormskirk Bereavement Service. I currently work for a large organisation alongside my private practice, supporting those who have experienced / who are experiencing:

Adult trauma

Childhood trauma

Work related stress

Anxiety

Depression

Bereavement

Relationship breakdowns

Chronic illness

OCD

Self-harm

Phobias

Confidence and self-esteem.

I'm so passionate in providing the most appropriate talking therapy, tools, techniques, and coping strategies suited to you. Without judgement or bias, I have a genuine desire to understand you for you, whilst you're on your own journey of self-discovery. A safe environment for you to explore your vulnerabilities is always of priority, and this is a space where you will always be heard, understood, and truly respected.

I am a registered member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (Íø±¬ÃÅ). I am committed to abiding by their ethical framework, ensuring good practice. I have all of the relevant insurance in place, GDPR compliant, and hold an enhanced DBS certificate.

If you have any questions, or would like to arrange a call, please just drop me a message.
