About me and my therapy practice
My name is Julie (she/her/hers) and I am a fully qualified, UKCP accredited psychotherapist offering both in-person sessions in Hampton, Twickenham, and online therapy. I work with adults from Kingston, Richmond, Wimbledon, Epsom, and across Surrey and Greater London.
I provide a warm, empathetic and non-judgemental space where you can explore whatever brings you to therapy — whether you’re feeling stuck, anxious, low, overwhelmed, or unsure what’s wrong but sense that things aren’t okay. Together we can begin to make sense of your experience, uncover patterns that may be holding you back, and support you in creating change that feels authentic and sustainable.
As a Highly Sensitive Person (HSP) and neurodiverse-affirming therapist, I recognise that each person experiences the world differently. I welcome and celebrate neurodivergent identities, including ADHD and autism, and offer a space where your unique way of thinking, feeling and relating is respected and understood. My approach is collaborative and compassionate, supporting you to navigate life’s challenges while honouring your individuality and strengths.
I work within a Gestalt psychotherapy framework — an integrative, relational approach that brings awareness to your thoughts, emotions and body in the present moment. On occasion, I may suggest creative methods such as drawing, clay, or movement to explore what feels difficult when words aren’t enough.
Clients come to me for support with issues including anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship difficulties, identity, work-related stress, bereavement, loneliness, life transitions, and low self-esteem.
Before training as a psychotherapist, I worked for over 15 years in the corporate world, giving me insight into workplace stress, burnout, and the challenges of maintaining balance as a working parent.
I offer therapy in both English and French.
Practice description
I offer both online and in-person sessions.
My practice is located in Hampton and has available onsite parking. The address is:
Queen Anne House
15 Thames Street
Hampton TW12 2EW
I always aim to respond to any enquiry within 24 hours. All communication between us is strictly confidential.
My first session
I offer all prospective clients a free 20-minute phone or Zoom conversation. We can use that time to talk about what is bringing you to counselling, discuss practicalities and get a sense of each other.
If we agree to proceed, I will send you ahead of the first counselling session a client information sheet and my privacy policy. In our initial session, we will be able to get a sense of each other and whether we're the right fit.
While I am usually happy for you to lead and tell me as much or as little as you feel ready to, there will be some questions that I will ask in the first session that relate to risk and safety and a little bit about your current circumstances.
My fee is £70 per session.
