About me and my therapy practice
Íø±¬ÃÅ
I’m an experienced Integrative Counsellor, working with a broad range of emotional challenges and mental health concerns. For those interested in technical terms my approach is humanistic with a psychodynamic perspective, while also drawing on CBT therapy to help break problems down. But ultimately what I hope you find in me is a real and compassionate person.
My aim is to create a warm, safe space where you feel able to explore whatever’s going on for you. Most people come to therapy because they’re looking for some kind of change in their lives, and I use gentle challenges to support this but only when the time feels right. Therapy is often about unlocking and understanding pain, but it’s also about looking ahead: finding hope, building resilience, and getting on with living. It’s a collaborative process so I remain open to any questions you might have.
Practice description
Íø±¬ÃÅ
Much of my work centres on supporting people through periods of personal change, that might be adjusting to life after a loss, navigating midlife shifts, coping with redundancy or divorce, facing fertility issues, or searching for direction in early adulthood.
These times of transition can feel isolating, and it’s not uncommon for challenges such as anxiety, insomnia, OCD, or eating difficulties to surface or intensify.
Therapy offers a supportive space to explore what you're feeling, gain clarity and reconnect with a sense of possibility.
I practise both online and in person from a consulting room in W4 and my private practice at home in NW6. Please inquire for availability in each format and location.
My first session
Íø±¬ÃÅ
I offer a 15-minute phone call or online meeting to give you a chance to get to know me and how I work.
In our first session, we’ll explore what brings you to therapy, discuss how we might work together, and talk about what you’re hoping to achieve. I’m always happy to answer any questions or address any concerns you may have.
My advice to anyone seeking therapy is to find someone you feel comfortable and at ease with — because that connection makes all the difference.
