About me and my therapy practice
"Whoever you are, no matter how lonely, the world offers itself to your imagination, calls to you like the wild geese, harsh and exciting – over and over announcing your place in the family of things." – Mary Oliver
Sometimes, when difficult feelings take over, it can be hard to hear that song of belonging the world offers us. You don’t have to face those struggles alone.
I’m Gabriele, a professionally trained counsellor (MÍø±¬ÃÅ). At the heart of my practice are empathy, authenticity, and holistic healing — creating a safe and supportive space for you to reconnect with yourself.
Practice description
I am a registered member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (MÍø±¬ÃÅ) and work in line with their ethical framework.
I hold a Postgraduate Diploma in Person-Centred Counselling and Psychotherapy (PGDip), a rigorous training grounded in experiential learning, personal and professional development, and clinical practice. I also completed a BSc in Psychology (BPS accredited), which gave me a strong foundation in human behaviour, emotional development, and psychological theory.
In addition to my academic training, I bring over a decade of hands-on experience supporting people affected by trauma, abuse, mental health challenges, and emotional distress across a variety of helping roles.
This blend of academic knowledge, professional training, and real-world experience shapes my person-centred, trauma-informed, and holistic approach to therapy.
