About me and my therapy practice
I am a qualified, experienced Dance Movement Psychotherapist registered with ADMP and an Integrative Counsellor. My approach is trauma informed and blends embodiment, somatic practices, and the creative arts. I believe the body holds the wisdom that words alone cannot always express, and by gently tuning and cultivating curiosity we can find new pathways towards self understanding, release, and healing.
As an integrative therapist, I can adapt the way I work to meet your individual needs, rather than using a one-size-fits-all approach. I aim to offer a confidential, non-judgemental space, where you can explore what’s going on beneath the surface, and build deeper self-awareness, resilience and self-compassion at your own pace.
I have a particular interest in women's health issues, and have completed evidence based training with the British Menopause Society (BMS) in CBT approaches to support with symptoms during peri/menopause.
Practice description
My practice is in central Worthing with various parking options, and transport links.
I work with adults, young people (16+) and couples tailoring the therapy sessions to your particular therapeutic goals or focus. Whether we use movement, creative expression, or reflective conversation, I aim to help you feel heard, supported, and empowered to make meaningful change. Together, we might explore themes of self-worth, resilience, identity, or life transitions and support you reconnect with your strengths, inner resources, and sense of self.
In addition to face to face, I am also able to offer walk and talk therapy or online to offer flexibility and accessibility, while maintaining the same depth of connection and confidentiality as in-person therapy.
I offer student therapists a concessionary rate, please contact to enquire about this.
I have one space for a low cost concession appointment depending on circumstances and will be happy to discuss this with you.
My first session
The first session we will go through the initial assessment together. We’ll look at what’s going on for you now, as well as any important background or life events that may be shaping how you feel and ascertain any relevant health support you already have in place. We’ll also talk through practicalities such as confidentiality, session structure, fees and how therapy might support your goals and have space to answer any questions you may have.
I see clients, at least initially, on a weekly basis, this is to build up trust and find a way of working together. I aim to create a relational and collaborative environment where you feel safe to explore any difficult emotions, make sense of patterns, and reconnect with your strengths.
