About me and my therapy practice
I’m an integrative therapist with over eight years’ experience in mental health and the charity sector. I offer a warm, relational space where you can slow down, reflect, and explore whatever feels important for you—whether that’s navigating a life transition, working through trauma, or making sense of your relationships and experiences.
My background includes extensive trauma work, particularly in the sexual violence sector, supporting people to reconnect with their bodies, boundaries, and sense of self.
I’m especially drawn to working with people in their 20s–40s who want to deepen their self-awareness, understand their patterns of relating, and build healthier connections with themselves and others. I also work with clients navigating big life transitions—such as relationship breakdowns, identity shifts in motherhood, career changes, or moving abroad.
I draw on person-centred therapy, somatic awareness, attachment theory, transactional analysis, and CBT-based grounding techniques. Together, we’ll work at your pace, with care and curiosity, in a space that supports reflection, growth, and meaningful change.
Practice description
I offer therapy sessions online, working with clients across the UK and internationally.
Sessions are usually weekly and last 50 minutes. My approach is collaborative and grounded. We’ll explore your thoughts, feelings, and, where it feels right, any sensations or responses in your body in the here-and-now.
You can expect a steady, supportive space where I offer gentle reflections, invite curiosity, and support you in building emotional awareness and regulation. Together, we’ll explore what’s going on for you—whether that’s past patterns, present challenges, or finding practical tools to support your wellbeing.
Whether you’re looking for short-term support or longer-term exploration, we’ll work in a way that feels safe and led by you.
My first session
I offer a free 20-minute introductory call, giving us a chance to meet, for you to ask any questions, and to get a sense of whether we might be a good fit. There’s no pressure to decide on the spot—this is simply an opportunity for us to connect.
If we decide to work together, the first session will be a gentle introduction. I’ll invite you to share what’s brought you to therapy, and I’ll ask some questions to get a sense of your current circumstances, background, life experiences, family dynamics, mental health, and any relevant medical history.
We’ll also run through a counselling agreement together, where I’ll explain important information such as confidentiality, session times, and payment.
This initial assessment is part of the natural flow of our conversation and helps us build a shared understanding of how therapy can support you.
The first session is charged at the usual session rate.
