About me and my therapy practice
I understand that life does not always go the way we expect, and my motivation for training as a counsellor came from wanting to provide others with the professional support we all need from time to time.
Sometimes, it is hard to make sense of things yourself or gain perspective from talking to friends and family. Taking time to tell your story can bring clarity, healing and empowerment. With empathy and compassion at the heart of it, I aim to create a warm, safe, non-judgmental space where you can explore your thoughts and feelings, working together at a pace that suits you.
Throughout my psychotherapeutic work, I have gained experience working with people struggling with a wide range of mental health issues, including anxiety, depression, low mood, anger, low self-worth/self-esteem, loss, grief, stress, and relationship difficulties.
Practice description
I am an integrative therapist, drawing upon different therapeutic models when working with my clients. My roots are person-centred, but I also use practical models from transactional analysis, interventions from Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) and insights from attachment theory and psychodynamic counselling to explore past experiences and relationships that impact the present.
Our work would largely promote your independence and increase your sense of empowerment. The key to successful therapy is rooted in a genuine and trusting relationship that allows you to open up and explore your challenges.

Feeling comfortable and understood is the most essential aspect for counselling to work its best for you.

About me and my therapy practice
Life can be full of challenges and unexpected turns, and at times it can feel overwhelming to face them alone. My motivation for becoming a therapist comes from a strong belief in the power of having a safe, supportive space to explore your thoughts, feelings, and experiences.
Sometimes it’s hard to make sense of things on your own, or to gain clarity by talking with friends or family. Therapy offers the opportunity to pause and reflect, bringing understanding, healing, and a greater sense of empowerment.
With empathy and compassion, I provide a warm, non-judgmental space where you can feel truly heard and understood, working together at a pace that feels right for you.
The heart of our work will be building a genuine, trusting relationship, which I believe is the key to meaningful and lasting progress. My aim is to help you gain clarity, confidence, and independence, so you feel empowered to navigate life’s challenges.
Practice description
I am an integrative therapist, with my work rooted in person-centred therapy. I also incorporate attachment theory, psychodynamic counselling, and polyvagal theory to explore how past experiences and nervous system responses may be shaping the present.
Alongside this, I draw on practical tools and insights from Transactional Analysis (TA) and Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) to support you in finding new ways of coping and creating meaningful change.
I have experience supporting people with a wide range of concerns, including:
Anxiety, OCD and panic
Depression and low mood
Stress and overwhelm
Low self-esteem and self-worth
Anger
Loss and grief
Relationship difficulties
