About me and my therapy practice
I'm Lily, I help individuals, couples and families have better relationships through improved communication and shared connection.
The aim of sessions is to explore how you, family / couple understand and relate to each other as well as understand the relationships you share itself. We will work to communicate and value that's based on respect and honesty.
For individuals
This is ideal for you if you are an individual, aged 18+, who is looking to enter into a relationship or wanting to strengthen an existing relationship, but may find it hard to communicate or balance your needs with others' and perhaps you struggle to see yourself in a loving, supportive relationships. Or, perhaps you are wanting to end your relationship in a constructive and supportive way.
I work with individuals long-term via Zoom or telephone and explore:
- what you are looking for from relationships and what is right for you in your life
- how you understand and make sense of relationships
- how to communicate respectfully and honestly with others about what you need and how you feel
For couples and families
This is ideal for two or more people, aged 16+, who are all committed to working together to communicate and understand each other. You may be having difficulty listening to and accepting each other’s perspectives or struggling to find and make ways to move forwards, in whatever direction this means for you all. You may be struggling with a range of things from intimacy (including erectile dysfunction or difficulties to orgasm / orgasming) to secrets, to infidelity.
I work with small groups long-term in a mixture of individual and group sessions. We will:
- allow each person to the chance to express how others and the relationships affect them
- give time and space for each person to say what they think is the way forwards for the couple/family
- dedicate time to explore ways of moving beyond issues in ways that are meaningful and fair.
